My account keeps getting suspended for selling "counterfeit" items that are NOT counterfeit. Does/Has any other sellers struggled with this issue and what options do we as the seller have?
I have been in contact with customer service over this now more than once but it seems that a report may or may not get made but then the issue has continued.

Hi @reubensa-24
Sorry this has happened to you, and whatever you do, do not attempt to relist the goods in question again. What is the item being pulled?
It is not unheard of for customer service to tell a seller that it was eBay’s mistake and they are free to relist, and then the item is promptly removed again, and the account restricted. I would find somewhere else to sell that item. It is just too risky to relist.

If you have multiple violations for counterfeits, you need to call Ebay and work this out. ASAP You have no time to waste. Multiple violations usually mean restrictions from selling or worse.
How many warnings have you gotten? For what product or products? Are you using brand names in the title for items that are not that brand? Tell us more details so we can help you.

You don't have a lot of options. Selling ounterfeit goods is a federal crime. Ebay has to protect themselves and may indeed error on the side of caution. The owners of the trademarks and copyrights also have input on eBay.
Where did you get the items and who authenticated them?

Without explaining exactly what you are selling and telling us exactly what the reports you are receiving are telling you, we really cannot do anything but guess.

Well if you keep selling the stuff,
you wont be selling on eBay.

In my opinion, this is bad advice.
The OP hasn't told us what he's selling and what the takedown messages say as the reason but if the items are indeed counterfeit, finding "somewhere else" to sell the items is going to put that account on the other website at risk of suspension too.
Before listing elsewhere, the OP needs to verify authenticity of the items.

If you are nice enough, but persistent, CS might give you a clue as to why your items have been flagged. It is often just a word in your description - a keyword that triggers the system. Think along the lines of "not the original" or something like that.

@reubensa-24, if this was one of the listings that were ended by eBay, then it did violate ebay policy and was ended correctly.
In the Item Specifics, you clearly show this was NOT made by Lego, it is just "Lego compatible". Also, I noticed in that listing, you said it was made by "Brick Loot" but the picture shows "Briksmax".
You can't use the brand name LEGO in the title, unless the item was actually made by Lego, and there are strict limitations on when you can use the words "for", "fits" or "compatible". I think this lighting kit would probably be considered "universally compatible" in which case you're not allowed to use a brand name unless the item was manufactured by that brand.

thank you for posting that, you made it real clear with the highliter. I run into this problem all the time with watchbands that are generic but fit most any watch.Sellers try to get more action with the right buzzwords.
its just like this forum.if you have an account problem,no one will know about it unless you post in the seller section.that is the most active compared to the account section.
that is why threads get moved, they get stuck back in the hinterlands category no one reads

I have a similar issue for an item that I just had flagged and removed for being "counterfeit". I can't post a link to the item since it has been removed but I attached an image of the item listing and I will post the text for the listing. Is there anything that I can do to fix the issue and what is the issue?

Here are screenshots of the text from my listing.

If it's not officially licensed by the Los Angeles Lakers, you can't list it as such.

Why did it say " All are brand new and made to order" in the listing? That doesn't sound like official merchandise.
I did have a look at the NBA Store, none of the Lakers masks they are offering match the one in your listing.

Your item(s) are/were counterfeit and appropriately removed! If an item has a logo but was NOT made by the company whose logo it is, it's illegal to sell anywhere.
You can't make an item and put a company's registered trademarked logo on it! That is manufacturing counterfeit goods!
