Multiple categories is a waste of time unless you sell something of a hybrid product or the item is unique in nature.
As a 20yr buyer/seller I can count on one hand how many times I searched by category ( I do narrow the search but don't actually search) and even less how many times I listed something in multiple categories.
Others may have very different opinions and experiences.
