Has anyone else had the pleasure of having Ebay say your item is counterfeit when you know it not? The policy is total trash and your not allowed to defend yourself. Im starting a class action, representing the common people who Ebay tramples on.

What is it about it that "rubs your nose in it?"

Does VERO also cover items that are not allowed to be resold on this type platform? Like possibly some Apple products or ones that can only be sold by an authorized dealer?

Happens and a few electronics and other such do retain the rights and ownership to items...
Hey try a " religious" testing device on here and see how fast it is pulled: they retain ownership of such items...

You are against honest sellers who get robbed by ebay? You want to allow ebay to continue as judge and jury on counterfeit claims? Why?
We get upset sellers posting here daily, some threatening lawsuits, railing about the rules interfering with their business. Big bad eBay? Most of it is user error! They don't learn the rules before listing and invariably run afoul of the policies. Many have no idea what they are doing, yet blame eBay for their failures.
Those threatening class actions only tells me they are woefully unprepared to act and haven't the slightest inkling of what they agreed to when using the platform. The majority of such posts is filled with anger and outrage over nothing improper on eBay’s side. They are in the wrong, not eBay, all because they didn't do their homework.
I am not against honest sellers or anyone else. Like most here, including @southern*sweet*tea , my purpose is to help where i can. I am not an eBay cheerleader or apologist, but i also won’t join in bashing the platform when it is not to blame. It is our choice to use eBay or move along.
It is every seller’s obligation to know and understand the rules first, before jumping into the fray. eBay is not perfect and sometimes gets it wrong. When they do, i acknowledge that fact. But there are plenty of posts in this forum where that is just not the case.

Hi @breda-11261
If a VeRO member asks eBay to remove an item ... eBay is obliged to do it without question.
[BTW, I doubt that eBay told you that your item was 'counterfeit'. The word was probably in a hard-to-understand paragraph that attempted to explain eBay's action.]
You agreed to settle problems by arbitration when you signed up for selling on eBay. Why do you still have listings up if you don't intend to keep to abide by your contract with eBay.

Customer service reps told me soo many lies that i have recorded. All i wanted to do was to prove its not counterfeit. I had 2 Moncler shirts i bought together at the Moncler store in Beverly Hills. 1 shirt is counterfeit and the other still listed. How is that?
I left items up to see the fake bits attack me since i'm against Ebay.

Hmm was this a VERO take down???
I assume you telling the truth though you could just as easily be...
I would advise not relisting the one they pulled: I would not risk the item still listed getting me suspended as can be done by bay for any reason or no reason..... Just saying...

What is a 'fake bit'?
Why would anyone attack you?
What does 'against' even mean if you are still here selling things?

eBay Customer Service reps can be ill-informed. 😕
It would do no good to 'prove' the item wasn't 'counterfeit' to a CS rep ... IF a VeRO member was responsible for the removal. You would have to communicate directly with the VeRO member.
Not all companies want their items sold on eBay ... and they will request removal on the basis that it MAY be counterfeit. eBay still must remove it.

You're fighting an uphill battle. We wish you all the luck in the world & we hope it works out if you go through with it!!
Good luck!

I actually saw one where a class action was going to be filed because of low sales.

Save your time money and energy, go sell somewhere where your items are not being Vero'ed.
eBay has the right to eliminate any item using any reason they want to come up with, when it comes to Vero, eBay rather exclude the resellers who face the Vero takedown (justified or not) other then face possible lawsuits from various companies, it might be a smart short term move for eBay, but as a result more resellers will look elsewhere to sell their inventory, Ebay will continue to decline due to loss in sellers, buyers, market share and profits.
it is what it is.

I'd pull that other listing just as fast as you can. We don't want to see your next post about why you were unjustly permanently suspended from selling

None of that answers my question but I am bored with it now. I know what the answer is anyway.
