Hello, I was selling a lego set and it got removed a day later because of the “no items listing policy” which I think basically means I can’t ask for money, but I’m not? I posted the pictures of the set and everything just like I normally would, and I can’t figure out what part of my post if any goes against this, so I think it was a mistake. I wish I could contact eBay directly, but they have no way to contact them about a dispute. How do I take action or atleast have them explain what I did?

It sounds like an automated algorithm at eBay flagged your listing because something about that listing made it appear to the algorithm that you were not actually selling an item.
Customer support will not know what triggered it either, because I doubt they have the access, training or expertise.
If you still had the title, description, and category we could probably help determine what it was. But I assume the listing is now gone.

Fortunately, I still do have access to it
Title: LEGO Star Wars AT-RT (75002) New sealed
Description:
LEGO Star Wars AT-RT (75002) New sealed.
It’s in really good condition too, sealed tape and everything. There’s slight damage to the box, but very minor and not noticeable. The damage can be seen in the photos, which is only very minor creases and folds.
I’m also willing to trade for stuff. I’m a retro videogame collector and am always looking for something new to add into my collection, especially if it’s anything Japanese. If you have anything interesting, feel free to hit me up.

Reach out to e-Bay on social media. Send them a private PM there and ask for assistance.
Good luck!

Was this in your listing? If so, thats the problem, no trading allowed with listings.

@zasto_827 The willing to trade and hit me up is what got the item pulled.
Had that paragraph not been in the listing you would not have an issue.
Since you are now have had it pulled and the bots are watching you, it is best if you dont relist that item. You could, right or wrong, find yourself banned from selling.

Oh gee. Ok well thanks anyways. If I resist it with the paragraph removed, that won’t fix anything?

Don't do it. If a listing is removed you aren't supposed to relist it unless eBay specifically says in writing you can relist it.

All items listed on eBay must be listed with an auction price or fixed price and/or with offer option, but nowhere can there be such indications as trading or any kind of language that would suggest there is something available for an off eBay transaction.. There is no such thing as TRADE on eBay...
the terminology of " If you have anything interesting, feel free to hit me up." sounds like a let's make a deal >off eBay...
everything about your listing is against eBay's rules and policies...
and trying to relist the item in any fashion may get you a suspension..

Want add again the rules. It goes under no item policy as well.
Get rid of such.

This is a buy-sell site No trading.
eBay gets no fees from trades.
The good news is that you have not been banned for off-eBay trades

You might want to read up on what payments are acceptable on eBay - bartering is not listed = it is not acceptable
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/payment-policies/accepted-payments-policy?id=4269
eBay has lots of rules, policies, procedures - need to take time to read and understand - it takes time

If the message about trading was in your listing, then that would be your problem and the reason for removal.

All listings on eBay have to offer a physical item or a tangible service. Listings that are blank, or don't offer a tangible item or service, aren't allowed because they can cause confusion for buyers and increase the risk of fraud
you offered a bartering opportunity - no can do on eBay - maybe at a flea market

I don't think it was an ebay listing he is talking about but a post here on the message board. I remember someone from a few days ago with a very similar post here trying to advertise his items to the posting boards and knew it was a violation but figure some of the regular posters here would clue them in.
