I listed a few thing just now, AUCTION style, and there is a make offer button on them. I didnt think this was possible, but I can't even remove it.

"We will be testing this feature with a small number of lower-volume consumer sellers in the coming weeks."

What I don't understand is that ebay, in the same paragraph, says it's a mistake (incorrectly added)? I think they may be testing it already.

I think the mistake parts were that:
(1) it showed up when they hadn't planned to release it yet;
(2) it was applied to items that clearly weren't overpriced, including some with opening bids for $1; and
(3) some of the sellers who experienced it were large-volume stores, not the target "lower-volume" sellers.

We will be testing this feature with a small number of lower-volume consumer sellers in the coming weeks.
Are you going to let the seller's know? Is it a secret test? Let them opt out? Or is this just another surprise where we all see something "differernt"?

It'll be live site wide day after Thanksgiving. Mark my words.

Trinton@ebay.com.
Can you tell us what criteria you will be using to add this best offer add on. I have one suggested item in my Sellers Hub that tells me to increase the price by $100. I'm too low. I've run into this before many times. If you consider me pricing $100 too low, what is the chance you will find the correct pricing to high?
Have you ever been poked by a stick incessantly? These past few weeks have been a blast of changes. I have to wonder if you are all trying to offset the damage of the third quarter results by implementing so many changes in desparation that everything is an unmitigated distaster. JMHO
