I listed a few thing just now, AUCTION style, and there is a make offer button on them. I didnt think this was possible, but I can't even remove it.

Hi everyone, we are looking into this topic right now and will share more info as soon as we are able!
Never mind, Mr. T., looks like they didn't bother to inform you, either. Pretty soon you'll just be one of us!

Ah yes...another goody behind hidden door #3...the final push for FREE shipping...that will help bump those auctions up a bit won't they so an above .99 bid can actually work.

I tried with one item to get eBay to trigger a Make Offer on a new Auction but it didn't work. I guess eBay didn't have a price in mind for my item.

AGH............really? That priceless Collectible that I have listed for $99 that did not sell and Ebay's Selling tip is start it at .99 - so I can assume that automatically there will be a BEST Offer - IF I don't list a BIN with my auction?
Let's see - first they scr*w newbies by the new format - that is they pick FIXED PRICE their listing will be GTS (re-listed until sold) with or without added fees adding up; now they will allow buyers to make bad offers - so we can all place the buyers in our BLOCK BUYERS - or perhaps Ebay wants all of us to change to FREE SHIPPING , FREE RETURNS, and FREE PRODUCT- That's it - perhaps it is time for a garage sale this month.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to step in and provide an update on this topic. We have identified an issue where the Best Offer option was incorrectly added to some auction listings that were created between October 8th and 10th. We are actively working on a fix for the impacted listings. We have identified affected sellers and will email them with further instructions. We will be testing this feature with a small number of lower-volume consumer sellers in the coming weeks.

Trinton replled on another post that this was a glitch on recent days; they have identified the sellers impacted, and will contact them with further instructions.
He also said that this test will occur for low volume sellers in upcoming weeks.
Feel free to confirm this info with his original post concerning this.

i had a thought. with the store subscription you get 250 auctions which alot of users dont use. you could list the 250 with a very high starting price and have ebay add the make offer button. buyers would naturally offer less than the starting price. bingo sale. and more importantly you can use up those free auction lsitings. it would be sort of like fixed price at a high price with make an offer. bingo bango.

Yep - more new sellers gone after they get disgusted. But again, not really, because ebay will have them listed as sellers for the next 6 months.
Hmm - which sets of numbers go to the stockholders, and how many realize how inflated they are?

Will those new sellers get disgusted or just not notice, because those low ball offers on their auctions are going to be ripping them off....

lloyd please move to the front of the class thats whats known in the auction world as a backfire listing. Leaves the buyer thinking they just stole something....

Why would you want to remove it ? All your items are only $1 each. If I offer you $10 would you take it ?

Funny thing email calls it a error with no mention of it becoming a new feature....
