I would say for me it has been around 25% 😕. Every time I see a 0 feedback bidder I cringe

For me lately it's been about 50%. I also cringe when I see and 0 or 1 feedback.
since going into managed payments it has been happening more.
Its an unspoken downside of the MP program that new folks can easily pay with
the new methods of payment so they buy on impulse and then change their mind.
at least before a new user had to set up a paypal account and that might stop a few
on these impulse buyers that quickly change their mind. I have had excuses anywhere
from I have a shopping addiction and you need cancel my order or my kid got ahold of
my phone and ordered without my knowledge or I just changed my mind.
it is what it is now. get used to the new and "improved" ebay.

From my experience I see about 99.9% percent of zero feedback score members pay and they usually pay immediately. They are usually guest accounts but it's also good to see new members joining Ebay too. BTW I have never had any kind of issue or return with a guest account.
When I do have a zero feedbacker not pay it's usually a non US buyer who gets hit with sticker shock on the GSP shipping cost and abandons the purchase.

My issue is with auctions not buy it now. I have sold quite a bit lately to 0 feedback with buy it now

100% of my zero feedback buyers have paid. The rare non-payers i’ve had have all been established buyers.

@natoman777 For me it is 100% zero FB buyers have paid. I rarely get a not paying buyer. Recently I had one buyer who never paid or responded to messages and it was a buyer with over 60 FB. I also rarely use the auction format, typically my listings are BIN with B/O. Best of luck to you....

I don't run auctions............but with offers on fixed priced..........never had 0 buyer back out..... have had a couple of higher feedback buyers give an excuse........but they have been few and far in between.

All of mine pay.
But then again, I use fixed price with immediate payment.

We quit doing auctions during the pandemic - found that people seemed to want to buy it now, not wait, etc.
Just doing fixed with immediate payment and a Best offer feature on most has worked well. Not many 0 FB buyers in looking back at the last 90 days - only a couple, so our data would not be helpful to you.
Our only non-payer was one who accepted a best offer, then changed his mind. He thought we would negotiate the shipping after the sale - we did not. His FB shows 634 and resides on our BBL.

100%
I've never had a zero feedback buyer not pay. I don't get many non-payers to begin with - two or three a year maybe - but the few I've had have all been long time established buyers...and a quite a few are sellers 😞

100% for me. In fact, the one non-payer I've ever had had a few hundred feedback.

100% of my zero feedback buyers paid in recent years, and they are mostly guest accounts. I also stopped doing auctions for years so these are all strictly buy-it-nows.
Non-paying buyers are also very rare for me. At most a couple a year.

I run almost all auctions and can tell you its nice to have 0 feedback bidders bidding.
its not my problem if a newbie jacks up the price for me or someone else
when a zero bidder is a strong bidder and pays more than they should then its a win win for the seller when they pay up
fresh bidders with 0 feedback are always welcome...they are often mistaken for shills by unhappy bid losers
who are not real familiar with the proxy system of bidding
most of my zero feedback bidders do pay

So I had someone who has zero feedback win 50 auctions.. 30 bucks. I should have blocked them after the first few.
guess what, no pay. Filled a non-bidder. Waiting. I know they won't pay and eBay won't do anything. So frustrating.

When we were actively selling, maybe 1% of 0 feedback buyers gave us problems (including non-paying or return requests). TBH, the biggest problems we usually had were with buyers in excess of 2000 feedback, now their non-paying rate was probably double of the zero FB buyers.
