Classic selling format, how to get it back.

Yesterday I listed a item for sell and I could use was the new selling format. I viewed other forums on how to get the classic format back but I could not. I called ebay and spoke to the representative and he clicked me back to the classic selling format. He informed me that eventually the classic will go away for every seller. He said the only way classic format will stay if enough sellers call customer service and complain and get switched back to the classic format. All sellers who are upset with the new format please call customer service and complain and get switched back. If not enough sellers complain then we all will be stuck with the new format with no way of going back to the classic.

If you mean the Seller Hub, we've been told it ONLY has to be used by business and professional sellers.

So either the CSR was lying or the Blues were.

Re: Classic selling format, how to get it back.

What do you mean by "classic selling format?" If you are referring to the Advanced version of the SYI form, it's been simplified and is very easy to use. The photo uploader is a pain but otherwise the form is OK. The Quick List form is to be avoided at all costs -- much too restrictive and not user-friendly to inexperienced sellers.

If you are referring to the new version of My eBay, then I agree that it's a mess and the "switch to classic view" link does not work. The biggest problem is the Unsold section -- it's impossible to relist or edit listings using the bulk editor. The Promotional Offers section is missing. The All Selling screen is totally useless.

If you mean Seller Hub, you can opt out. It's for high-volume sellers who want all the marketing bells and whistles. Ordinary eBay sellers without a store don't need Seller Hub at all.

The selling format that has ben around for years, the classic. Not the switch that is now but the format that we all used for years..

Re: Classic selling format, how to get it back.

The classic selling format is the format sellers used to list items for sale a few years back. About 2 years ago eBay started a new selling format and it sucked,  that is the one you see today. If you do not know what the classic is the you are new to selling.

Awright...I'll say this once...
I ASSUME you've been forced into Seller Hub...the "new", unwieldy platform.

Re: Classic selling format, how to get it back.

the problem with doing it that why, complaints do not get refistered with eBay. Sellers neeed to call eBay and complain about the new **bleep**ty selling format   and request the classic one or the classic formay will go away forever.
