Anytime eBay updates something, they make it worse.
Now it requires dimensions for Pmail shipments.
It's harder to print labels too, have to click extra buttons.

Gold-daddy 96,
I can tell you how I do it on a Mac and this should (might) work on a pc. I am using half sheet laser labels.
First method: Save the label as .pdf or "print to PDF" the label. Open the label in Acrobat reader. Set printer to print 2 pages per sheet or "booklet". Set to print pages 1 thru 1. Adjust scaling if required. Print then put label in reversed for your next label. I manual feed my self adhesive labels and print packing slips from the 500 sheet tray. Very handy method for printing out return labels or really anything that will not format properly.
Second method: Do a "print screen" and select the area you want saved. Open image, adjust size, and print 2 pages per sheet (2 up). PDF works better on the Mac because it gives you more printer control. Not sure about PC anymore, I gave up PC's on the arrival of Windows 8
I hope this solves your problem.
I too have been forced into the new printing app and hate it. Off course I knew this day was coming, but hoped they would scrap the new page. No use getting my BP up by venting about it. If my dog were still around I would complain to him about it.

I was forced in to using the new label printing and found that it worked fine without doing any of the above steps. Probably because they are already printing in .pdf format. I found that if I printed 2 up at 110 percent I could get a small label that will fit on small boxes without wrapping around the side of the box.
There are so many mistakes in the new page it is obviously programmed by a group of people who have never done many ebay shipments. Example, under the custom sizes option they list all the flat rate fixed sizes. Except they could not even screw up right and left out the Regional Rate B from the custom sizes!. I just can't understand how this software ever got out of beta testing.

Have you tried using ebay's bulk shipping? That is what I use, and I print on adhesive labels that come 2 to a sheet, and it also includes the SCAN sheet to use at the post office counter.

I'm all for progress...But I hate the new label print function!!!! Did I mention I hate it! Just like Windows 10, Microsoft thought if you add a lot of boxes and stuff we would like it better, all that it did was take a simple one screen format and make it too busy to look at and added extra steps. At least Microsoft finally listened and updated Windows 10 to be a bit more like Windows 7. eBay took a simple one screen look and produced a piece of **bleep** that they thought looked pretty. One function that I've repeatedly asked for was the ability to change the postal office zip code that handles the actual shipping, not mine or the buyers but the postal office. Post Offices get credit for their shipping's based on the zip code. My personal zip code is attached to an office that is furthest from my home. Will the closer office still ship my package...yes... but I know how they feel about it, so I feel guilty when I know they are not getting all of the credit for their work, If someone knows how to change the shipping office zip code on the new format and I'm just not seeing it, please let me know, I can't find it. Even with this fix (if there is one) I much prefer the simple one page screen of the old format.

Agree, the classic label tool is much better than the new, (un)improved version. The new page is a time waster and and requires too much scrolling, which programming appear to love - everyone else not so much. I can see how the new page works for new sellers (appears that was their target), but for folks who are experienced they just cost efficiency.

ALSO - one CANNOT combine a multi-order label anymore! Have to use the more expensive PayPal option to print. Anyone else notice this chaos? Had one customer order 6 records - none are pay now - before, no problem - now you cannot upgrade a label for a customer. GRRRRRR!! alan@ebay why is this happening?

ALSO, international shipping is now more expensive....unless I am missing something. What's the reason for this?!?!?

This sucks! Take away something that works great and replace it with something more convoluted and stupid.

I did tell them, but still wasn't able to print out the classic label. Who thinks up these brainy schemes?

See this thread for some options -- I believe these workarounds are still effective:
For a simple one-time workaround you can manually edit the URL of the new label page, replacing new_label with back_to_classic. Or you can use berserkplanet's javascript code to make a bookmark that will do the same thing for you when you click on it, or you can set up a re-director rule that will do everything automatically, provided your browser is compatible.
