Sick of ebay keep changing my listing without my permission.

I m sick of ebay keeps changing my listing without my acknowledgement.

change my buy it now to accepting offers ...

if I want offers from buyers, I would do that my self but I do not.

but ebay change to accepting offers...so I have to go back and turn off the accepting offer option.

or they drop price $15.00 without my consent.

i turn off easy pricing and all.

I check everything if I can stop ebay from doing this and check my accounts and all don't help.

Ebay is not helping sellers only to make quick sale or something for their benifits.

sick of it.

I wrote about this same issue several months ago on this forum. When I relisted an item eBay would self populate "free shipping" when it was not my intention. I got screwed on a few sold items by assuming the relisting would be verbatim to the prior listing. Now I check everything before clicking the submit button. Either eBay's computer programmers and management are incompetent or cheesy...that would be the only reason for self populating unwarranted check-marks in boxes for a relist. The latest issue is eBay self populating the checked box for the Global Shipping Program in my relistings.

It appears ebay is adding the Best Offer option to fixed priced listings and auto relist if you are using the Quick Listing Tool.

To remove that option, go to My ebay > Selling > Listings > Active > Edit

You will now have to switch to the advanced listing form with more choices. That option is in the upper right corner. Once you switch, you will be able to scroll down and uncheck the Best Offer option and auto relist.

It sounds like you are using the QLT [quick list tool].  That listing form will require certain things of your listing that you may not want.  To stay IN CONTROL of how your listing appears, switch to ALF [advanced listing tool].  If you do that, you can make these choices for yourself.

It's either the QLT or, more likely, they're using the app.
Reality is the leading cause of stress.

I m using my ipad and I just click sell item and I just choose categories and start listing.

While choosing selling option...check buy it now and turn off offers but in few days, ebay change to accepting offers and I have to go in and turn off.

very annoying.

Sometimes it drop prices by $15.00

That is what others are suggesting may be part of your problem...MOBILE APP .  Often you don't know what choices are going to default since they may not even be presented to you in that format.  Even if they are, there is a good chance your "choice" won't stick.

I believe the app uses the QLT.

I finally spoke to Ebay about their constantly changing my offering settings on BIN items and was informed that it is their policy to change any listings to take "offers" after in item has been listed for 8 days. The seller can only go back in and change it, which obviously is a pain-in-the- neck when you have lots of listings.  I don't see a solution, other than dump Ebay!

@disneyshopper

Are their 3 listings tools?  I ask because you keep referring to the QLT or the App.  Doesn't the App use the QLT or am I incorrect on that?  I thought there were only two listing tools.  The QLT and ALF.

@mam98031 No, there are only 2 listing tools. I probably refer to the QLT as the mobile app so it is clear what I am referring to, so maybe it's not as "clear" as I thought! 🙂

Good cuz you had me concerned that there was yet another one out there to be concerned with.  Thank you for the clarification.
