When I can see my customers names who are having lots of bids I can wait to invoice them when they are done - now I can't see that because a person can't see whose bidding - so how are we to service our customers with the way it is??

Ya, I am beginning to think it is a lost cause and Kobayashi Maru !  Every workaround that is posted works for a few minutes or days, maybe weeks, then they figure out what makes us happy and pulls the rug out fumunda. They refuse to be happy until we are unhappy !  Aye Chihuahua !

If I could only get classic view back for 30 seconds, I would Control print screen and past it to paint and keep it forever as a jpg and stare at it when I am fed up with trying to use whatever monstrosity they try to force us to use.  Weeks from now, still staring !  Like a fireplace scene or aquarium on my TV.  Ahhh ! SO relaxing. So Beautiful ! My Own...MY Preshious !

F**k you Ebay and this is from a member that's been here since 2002! You guys really have forgotten that it was the sellers who made you what you are today. All you guys do now is force **bleep** on us and don't even ask or take a **bleep** poll. I put up with a lot of **bleep** over the years but this has been something! Once again, thanks Ebay for f*****g the little guys!

The post below sums it up for quite a few.  Many will either stop selling here or more likely limit the amount of items that they sell so that they can keep track of it all.

Screenshot_2021-05-07 Forcing the new seller pages on us does more harm than they (ebay) may realize .png

I cannot IMAGINE having 1,000+ listings and trying to keep track of things using the new format.

AGREE!

This is off topic, But the little boy in these photos is Freddie Highmore of the TV show The Good Doctor where he plays Shaun Murphy.  I just looked it up the other day and was amazed because I love the Movie Finding Neverland.  His acting, even from a young age was outstanding.  He is such a good actor, IMHO.

I've reached that age where my brain goes from "you probably shouldn't say that." To "what the heck, let's see what happens. "

To the dozens of comments I lodged with eBay against the removal of the classic view pages and detailing the deficiencies of the new selling pages, I received a response from one sole eBay employee. I was shocked to get a response, and according to the sender, this email came from "the" person "responsible for the Unsold listing module on the new 'All Selling' page." His title was "Lead Product Manager, Seller Tools."

The rep was responding to my complaint that the Seller's Hub Unsold items page did not show the shipping charges like it did in Classic View.

Classic View Unsold page clearly showed the shipping fees. (See below screenshot.)

To my utter disbelief, the eBay employee wrote back first announcing that the Unsold pages have not shown shipping fees for the past 6 years (when clearly they have) and then asking me why I needed to see the shipping charges!

He wrote:

" . . . . this is the first time I’ve seen a seller ask for it [the shipping charges.] Can you tell me more about how you find it useful to see ‘Shipping cost’ in your Unsold table? What do you do with that info? Do you realize that if we were to show ‘Shipping cost’ it would be only for the cost of the first shipping option you provide on the listings (i.e. it would not show the cost of any additional options, such as expedited, that you offer)?" (Screenshot below.)

At that point, I believed the rep was jerking me around but I wrote back that contrary to his assertions, the shipping fees always appeared under the price in classic view so that on relisting a seller could very, very quickly determine right there on the Unsold page how to tweak the item price in coordination with the shipping fee to make the listing more attractive to prospective buyers. Now, on the current Unsold page, we are forced to click & go into each individual item's separate page to be reminded of what we asked for shipping before we can tweak the price. When one has hundreds, or even dozens, of listings, that process is laborious, boring, time-wasting - a complete drag - and confusing when we are calculating within a group of similar objects how to change the shipping offers accordingly within the group.

Here was the "Lead Product Manager of Seller Tools Product Management" of the leading selling site in all of America telling me he did not understand why sellers needed to be able to see on the Unsold page what we previously charged for shipping!

There are no words.

I never received a further response from that eBay employee or from anyone else at eBay. And, I note that in Unsold within Seller's Hub, the unsold items still show without the shipping fees so we still have to click on each line item & open a separate page for each piece of merchandise to find out what we charged. There is no more quick, direct relisting from the Unsold page.

We are of no value to eBay except as objects for the coders to ridicule and laugh at. I'm now certain of it.

A clearer picture of the Classic View Unsold page where, clearly, obviously, the shipping fees are shown in plain view right under the item price.   How in the world could that eBay rep say that he was wholly unaware that shipping fees were present on the Unsold page?   How can I be the "only" seller in his decade of working on eBay to point out the usefulness of knowing the shipping fees charged on Unsold items?
