I know, I know, I'm supposed to be adapting to & learning about all the benefits of the new ALL SELLING Seller hub hooey...but my OCD's got the best of me.

I knew the workaround links wouldn't stay for long...

Well those worked for just one day. Thanks for the effort. Really appreciate it. But it really is perplexing and you have to wonder why any entity would force something on it's clientele that has a near 100% disapproval rate from the very people they need to sustain their corporation. I thought only Washington worked that way but to do that in the marketplace means you have ulterior motives or are completely incompetent. I really don't understand.

So much negativity is directed towards them that I expect really bad things will soon start to happen to them. In their place I would be worried and willing to amend things. It won't end well, Ebay.

Well, that didn't take long for Ebay to make those workaround classic view links useless.

They probably put a few IT teams together just for the purpose of negating any workarounds to the classic views.

It must keep them up at night, endlessly worrying about ebay members being able to use the classic view instead of the seller hub. Nightmares, maybe.

Oh-em-gee!!!

Now your workarounds are VERY OBVIOUSLY being blocked by someone at eBay. I could see your older workaround possibly being "outdated" by some of their updates to the system but for your new workaround to be blocked within a DAY? Uh...yeah...obviously being blocked.

Why on earth do they care whether we use their new & unimproved all selling page or your workaround???

What is wrong with us using the classic site when someone was more than willing to come here with a solution for us and made this beautiful workaround do that we ALL could do our work in an efficient manner?

This is OBVIOUSLY nothing more than a piXXing contest with some eBay programmer. This has NOTHING to do with work-ability and needing someone to maintain the classic site...they had @modifiedracer93 making a workaround FOR FREE!!!

I think you're all looking too deep into this. The real reason ebay is probably killing these old links is that the code base which utilizes them hasn't been updated in like 7 years as I think ebay retired this particular layout in roughly 2014. The question that people SHOULD be asking is, why is there still old code running on the server that people can manipulate via php strings? And if this kind of old code is still running on their servers, what other old code is still running? This seems like a significant security risk to me, and the fact that they're still cleaning this up 7 years after the fact should alarm anyone who worries about the potential for their personal data being hacked. It is also an indication to me that proper programming practices are nowhere to be found behind the scenes at ebay.

All that said, I really wish the people currently working on programming behind the scenes at ebay would take a look back at the layout that some of us are still using and offer an official "ebay classic" layout for anybody who still wants to use it. Because the old links and the content on them is still mostly functional even today.

@modifiedracer93 - if you do come up with another solution, do not post it here but PLEASE message me and others that you KNOW are not employees or snitches the info...I think you can tell who we are by your older posts as well.

All we want to do is work efficiently. This, apparently is too much to ask for.

same here - 2 days and right now zilch - they just don't get it that we don't want the new stuff - they just want to make more work for us - I just don't know what a person can do to make this all easier for us sellers. Could we have a petition signed in regards to it??
