Just curious why ebay's programmers aren't aware of these types of things until they are mentioned on the boards here and then you all "report" it to the developers. These types of things should not be happening in the first place.
brian@ebay wrote:Hi Everyone! From what I can see if looks like this is a cosmetic issue and hasn't actually changed your store levels. I'll get this reported to our developers right away. Thanks for letting us know about it

Who knows @gracieallen01, and since I very rarely use auctions, it's not as if I was going to find out! 😉
However, It now appears eBay cleaned up the mess they created this morning as my dashboard is displaying as it should. All the insane/incorrect "promos" are now gone. On one hand, that's great but the question is, why should this kind of thing ever happen in the first place? Does no one at eBay know or care about the concept of taking pride in doing good work?

Someone makes a 'cosmetic' change and never checks to see if it works? If those programmers worked for me, they would be out the door so fast their heads would spin.
No kidding @d-k_treasures. Instead of the silly boy scout badges they forced on all of us here in the forums a year ago, they ought to be *paying us* every time one of us identifies yet another issue or screw-up that their crack software developers either could care less about or don't bother to test before deployment.

I'm afraid that I am the proverbial 'Doubting Thomas'. Whatever they say, I can't help but think that the results showing up in the various 'glitches' have been done to order, got out through carelessness and are a probable preview of things to come. They don't 'just happen' out of the clear blue. Either that or they are letting their grand kids play with the programming to keep them out of trouble after they get out of 'KinderKare'.

Or, do the developers just do what they want, when they want and ebay has nothing to say about it?
Just curious, you understand.
Hi @gracieallen01, while we definitely strive for changes and updates to be 100% seamless, there are times when we may fall short of that. I assure you, before any new features are rolled out there is extensive testing done to work out any problems that may arise. With a site as large as eBay, there are still times when some issues don't present themselves until they go live. When this occurs, we will work to resolve problems as quickly as possible. I appreciate your help in investigating this!
Mine are correct as of today.......... as to the 100%, I'd settle for a couple of wks of no problems........there have been problems of one kind or another almost every week since Xmas and certainly before, including the refurbished toilet paper/condom debacle; then we have the on going charging for revisions, the promos that disappear, but are then honored, at least to those that know they will be honored........ and that's just a few..... Then we have the "tests" that condemn sellers who "don't respond to offers", with a new definition of 24 versus 48 hrs........ and the total change in help pages that fail to provide the information that took YEARS to get included in the old pages....... go try to find a definitive explanation of when exactly mailing within 1 day is defined, relative to Pacific time. All this is just more time wasting/angst for sellers........and you pass it off as "ebay" can't get everything right... Frankly, ebay's lack of consternation about these problems is almost more abhorrent than the problems themselves.

..Woke up this morning to find.
1. Our Premium Level Store is gone
2. Our SKU numbers are gone, (makes it hard to find stuff to ship)
3. Sold items not showing on seller hub
4. Still being charged .35 per relisting
Currently we are unable to list items and ship items but we are able to pay eBay .35 per relisting.

Well, at least SOMETHING is still consistant!

Update.
On May 1st the eBay glitch dropped our store. After 72 hours, 2 calls to ebay and posting here, we were still missing our premium store, unable to list (No SKU Numbers) and being charged .35 per listing and relisting. The balance on a .35 relising fee is $1700.00 per month not including the final value fee for not having a subscription.
We called eBay this morning and were on hold for 1:32 minutes before getting through. Avoid the first level for serious issues. We got through to the right supervisior, upgraded to an Anchor Store over the phone and everything came back; store, SKUs and seller Hub. The Supervisor was awesome. He was straight to the point, understood our issue and offered a viable solution. Ebay will also refund the overcharge to our account. Thank you!

I have the anchor store and my subscription did not change from the glitch. I was worried I might be billed or bumped up to the new enterprise store level, but saw it was still anchor.

Hello,
I subscribed to a premium store on May 1st. There's a problem with my account.
I am being charged $0.42 for each listing when I have a premium store with 500 zero insertion fee. It's not a problem of categories.
I have contacted, on the phone, the ebay.com support but the woman I was talking to didn't understand that there's a bug.
Can you help me to solve this problem ?
05-09-2018 04:29 AM
Since you are located in France, there could be significant differences in fee structure, VAT, etc.
05-09-2018 08:32 AM
Hello,
it's not a problem of VAT. I subscribed to the premium store May 1st and it doesn't work : it should be free until 500 auctions. It's a similar problem than ebauctions15.
I have the promotional offer , however I am being charged for each listing.
I hope someone of ebay can solve this problem.
