It doesn't matter which exact date you drop it; the change will take effect on June 1.

Ditto.
I'm afraid to list anything until (unless) ebay fixes this new hot mess...

I just saw this thread and was feeling a bit left out until I refreshed my Overview page. Yep, I jumped from Basic to Premium!

Hi Everyone! From what I can see if looks like this is a cosmetic issue and hasn't actually changed your store levels. I'll get this reported to our developers right away. Thanks for letting us know about it

Once I listed my Basic showed up & listing came off the Basic
I am not letting it stop my listing
Per listing this morning
After listing just now in fixed it came of Basic .
Haven't done any Auctions

If this is just cosmetic, why am I being charged .35 for each listing when I have a Premium Level store with 1000 free listing remaining. Plus the fee for each listing is only supposed to be 0.10 per listing. Does not apear to be cosmetic to me.

Hi @common.goods, thanks for updating me about this! I'll send your account details to the developers so they can review this situation.

There sure have been a lot more than usual so called “cosmetic issues” with everything ebay does. Is “cosmetic issue” the new politically correct term for incompetent employees and contractors that don’t know what they are doing and should be replaced. With all these “cosmetic issues” a lot of us are afraid that when ebay takes over the payment system it's going to be a HUGE HOT MESS of cosmetic issues.

What's really pathetic is that we have to tell them it's messed up.
Someone makes a 'cosmetic' change and never checks to see if it works? If those programmers worked for me, they would be out the door so fast their heads would spin.

Where do you see what store level you are? I do not see it on sellerhub.

Who told the developers to do it in the first place?
Or, do the developers just do what they want, when they want and ebay has nothing to say about it?
Just curious, you understand.

Hi @gracieallen01, while we definitely strive for changes and updates to be 100% seamless, there are times when we may fall short of that. I assure you, before any new features are rolled out there is extensive testing done to work out any problems that may arise. With a site as large as eBay, there are still times when some issues don't present themselves until they go live. When this occurs, we will work to resolve problems as quickly as possible. I appreciate your help in investigating this!

With all due respect, Brian, it would appear that perhaps ebay needs to get someone into the loop - between ebay and the developer - to pass approval on 'features' so that they don't become cosmetic issues. Between the cosmetic issues with the stores, the ones with the relisting fees and one or two others, it might be prudent to have some redundency in the approval system.
