So I am very angry at this point. A few weeks ago I was suspended from ebay for 2 weeks for receiving an offer in my messages. Even though I rejected the offer; ebay still suspended my account. Now that is utter **bleep** in and of itself. Now today I am even angrier. I got an email saying that my bank account has reached zero dollars and now I owe a fee of 15 dollars to my bank. Who charged my bank account? well it was ebay. I received a final value fee of 60 dollars for an item that I didn't even sell. That is purely ridiculous and I have no intention of paying this amount. It doesnt help that ebay customer service is almost impossible of getting ahold. If someone could message me about this that would be great.

Calling an ebay employee for you.
Hi @beyonderland_0, I've reviewed the situation and see that the fee's that have been accrued are correct. I can't go into account details here, but I definitely want to give you a detailed explanation, so keep an eye out for an email from me today.
Additionally, I need to clarify that anytime action is taken on an account, such as a restriction being placed or an off-site sale Final Value Fee being charged, an agent does review the situation. Thanks for tagging me, @carlqsportscards!

Can you explain how the fees levied are "accurate" when the OP has the very same item he's been charged for selling off ebay currently listed?
Hi @myjunqueyourtreasure, I cannot go into detail as doing so would divulge account specific information. However, I can reaffirm that correct action was taken in this situation.

Brian.t@ebay
I have 2 questions about this..
1) What to do about constant unsolicited offers on my higher priced items from people who just joined EBay that exact day 0 feedback obviously for me to text them about selling to them my item. They provide their text numbers with + In between each digit. I usually reply my item is for sale here on EBay but I always get an uneasy feeling about this. Happens with highest priced things.
2) When I sell furniture or gigantic art work I only sell local pick up only no shipping.
Will I get in trouble providing my address for giving them the courtesy to look over my again higher priced item prior to purchasing as they too are local?
Thank you for your help.
Nikki

BUT if they relisted it, that means it was never sold, right? Either On ebay or OFF.
What is not to say he did not have more than one.

But can you prove without a doubt that the OP sold this item off ebay? Because if your bots are just "guessing" that doesn't seem right to me.
The Op could have had multiples of the item.
I suspect what Brian T isn't telling us is that there was more to the story than what the original poster told us....

Exactly. Ebay must have seen a pattern before taking this action.

I have received offers outside of ebay on my messaged which I have rejected. As well as an offer on ebay that was retracted from the buyer after a couple hours I don't know which I was charged for but I assume it was from the messages.
Depends on how you rejected the offer. You are supposed to state you only communicate and sell on Ebay.

brain are you able to go into a seller or buyers ebay PMs and read the back and forths that took place? When I chatted with trinton last week I believe he said he and ebay CS were allowed into accounts to review things that might or might not have taken place...

Exactly.
others have stated that they got warmed the first time. Then suspended the second time for 7 days, and charged fvf.

@beyonderland_0 wrote:Same. I think its completely unethicle for ebay to charge people with no confirmation of a sale. A real person should go over the message before the bot automatically charges you.
Actually I think it has been said that they do.
