Changing shipping method when buyer makes an offer

Can I change my changing method from Fed Ex to USPS after the item sells? The buyer is ok with this change. Must I end the item and relist it with USPS or can I change it without ending listing?

If the buyer is okay with the change then you can just select the different shipping method when printing the label.  OR buy the shipping label from the paypal transaction as the price is the same as ebay if you have any issues printing the ebay label.

Re: Changing shipping method when buyer makes an offer

As noted in the other post it's OK to change the carrier or service if it's OK with the buyer. If you can't convince the eBay shipping label to do this, then you can purchase your label at

www.PayPal.com/shipnow

You will pay a little more for a Priority Mail label on PayPal because you won't get the 3% discount that eBay gives Top Rated Sellers.

@nobody*s_perfect   I forgot to check if they were TRS thanks for the save.  🙂

I know that TRS sellers receive the discount but I have looked in seller central and help pages and can't find it mentioned.  Do you have a link to where ebay mentions it?  I wanted to share it with an OP the other day.

If my foggy memory serves TRS also receives a discount on international shipping, is that correct?  Is it the same 3%?

Re: Changing shipping method when buyer makes an offer

The 3% discount was introduced in the year when USPS eliminated the difference between the actual prices for Commercial Base and Commercial Plus.  That was 2017 or 2018, IIRC, and eBay made an Announcement about protecting TRS benefits. The final year in which there was a price difference, it was about 3%, so that's what eBay set as the TRS benefit discount.  I'm not sure whether it ever appeared in the official help page about TRS benefits; if so, it apparently was dropped like so much other basic information during the Great Help Reformatting disaster of 2019.
