This morning, I opened one of my listings and a white box came up by the photos, showing that changes have been made to the picture format. Now, when you click on the pictures, they don't get bigger (they only zoom in), and the main picture is in center of page, with additional pictures to the left of the main one. I do NOT use a cellphone... only my computer, and I don't like how this new format looks. Is there a way to change it back?

It may be a test so I'm not sure if I'm seeing the same thing. When I look at your listings and click on the main picture, it does get bigger but stays on the left side. If I then click on it again, it becomes larger and takes up the whole page. I'm on a PC.

Thanks so much for your response (and sorry I missed this earlier). My son still gets the normal (older) view like you did on the PC. I then heard back from someone in eBay who explained:
"We've been working to simplify and streamline the entire site, focusing on listing pages and seller tools, mostly. It seems our design team is testing out this new format to get insight into how users interact with it. If we find this makes it easier to contact a seller (for example), it's possible this will be rolled out to everyone. However, if the engagement isn't good, or if the layout doesn't hit other specified metrics (this depends on the project goal, which I don't have any insight into), you'll eventually revert to the default display."
So you were right that it IS a test!

it used to be they would test these things out on people who agreed to be part of the experiments, in sanitized spaces, who weren't paying sellers.

Yeah I hate it as well. I have a 27" monitor and I cannot see the entire image without having to move the cursor around to see the entire image. This is now BROKE. Please fix it eBay.
