Did you mean:

Ebay is Scum!!

Appearntly I autopaid an Item that I didn't want by mistake and canceled 5 minutes after the fact and instantly started a return and messaged the seller who never responded and ebay rejected it 3 days later  and closed the case. After multiple attempts of reaching out to them they did nothing and when the envelope arrive there was nothing in it! Told ebay about it and they still did nothing! Pure **bleep** customer service and leadership. I don't care what they believe I signed I didn't set up the account so I didn't agree to anything arbitrary wise. I'm getting a lawyer and I will sue them.

Go and open an item NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE.   Try to open it on Ebay. If you can't do it there, go to paypal if that is how you paid.

In the future, do NOT make an offer unless you are absolutely sure that you want that item.

Well, don't talk about it here as public discussion could jeopardize your case!  Hope you and Saul have a happy day in court.

You aren’t going to sue them.

You cannot "cancel" a purchase on eBay.  You can "request to cancel"

and instantly started a return and messaged the seller

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

you cannot return that which you do not have

You would not have auto paid for something that you did not agree to.  Apparently, you did authorize the payment.

You bought something.

Changed your mind and didn't want it.

Tried to cancel the transaction but the seller ignored you.

The next thing you know you received the item and claim the package was a empty.

Why don't you simply return it for a refund?

No need to send thousands of dollars on an attorney.

Does not matter who set up the account. Using it to buy and sell constitutes agreement to the UA terms of service.

Seems that the OP immediately opened a "return" that got closed 🤔😐

You cant cancel a order. But you can ASK the seller nicely if they would cancel the order for you as the seller will still have to pay Ebay a fee because of your canceled purchase.

You cant start a 'return' on an item you didnt have, so of course Ebay closed it.

You were bidding on someone else's account?

Doesn't eBay consider that "hijacking"?

Internet lawyers-- does that constitute fraud on the part of the OP?
