Since more and more sellers are using SIO's to generate sales, it's important to realize that the final sold price that shows up on eBay's "sold" filter, does NOT reflect the actual SIO price, but only the listed price. Therefore, it's important to build in a "high/low" margin when determining your pricing.

You can find the actual paid price with product research so you don't need to guess. 🙂

Remember that uncommon items are uncommon and many sellers do not check comps when listing. An Ebay comp may not be a predictor of the price you can receive for the uncommon item because the seller of that item may have left money on the table. Knowing what you are selling, how many offers are available, how many have sold may be more important than the comps which may reflect purchases by other sellers planning to flip the item.

Yes, you are correct. One must use that feature to get a more accurate comp. However, many don't use it since it does not have a camera feature nor can it be used with Google Lens.
