I don't approve of eBay's new business model where they get involved between the seller and the buyer and take control of the funds involved.  I will be doing no further business with eBay

I've used eBay since 1998 and have a 100% satisfaction rating.  I don't need eBay involved in my business.

It's not really a new business model there has always been somebody between the buyer and seller. Before it was PayPal now it's eBay/Adyen. That being said I agree with you on the funding holds. This is in place for eBay to cover their own posterior and for NO other reason what so ever. They also, finally admit that they earn interest on those held funds something they flat out denied ever since moving to managed payments.

Sorry but it seems Ebay needs to be involved, as you dont seem to be doing your 'business' very well. Good luck.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but Ebay doesn't need you to approve it.  You agreed to the User Agreement so that you can sell here on the site.  That is all they need as it is covered in that agreement.

Ebay has done this for a long time.  Like I said before, the holds are for a short period of time and once you prove yourself to be a good seller, they release you from it.  Usually after 10 or so transactions.
