Canceling an order

Due to the seller being on vacation, both seller and buyer agreed to cancel the order. But I am not sure how to do that. Any help out there? Thanks

Only the seller can cancel the order, the seller must initiate and finalize this action.

Are you the seller or the buyer?

Sellers who can not ship items out in time need to cacnel as out of stock as this is not the fault of the buyer. Make sure the sellers cancels as such.

Items should not be active if sellers cant ship.

Wouldn't the question be what the adjusted handling is?

There are multiple questions that would have to be asked to establish what is the actual appropriate cancellation reason.

eBay's time away option allows for sales when on vacation. If the seller had this on, and the buyer made a mistake purchasing not realizing the extended handling time, then a 'Buyer Requested' cancellation is appropriate.

Seller's cant abuse cancellations when they can't meet their handling time. That is correct, but we don't know all the information for this situation.

If your buyer has told you he prefers cancelling, keep it simple, click on "Buyer requested cancellation" Eazy Peazy. Your fees get refunded, buyer is free to find the item elsewhere.
