Can`t list an item

I am trying to list my item but when I click list item, an error message pops up. It says ‘listing limit reached’ but it is the first item I’ve ever listed. Someone help please

EBay is not always clear when there’s a problem.

1. All your contact info is correct and you have a valid payment method on file?

2. You are set up to receive payments - probably PayPal? And everything looks right over there and within the listing you are trying to put up?

3. You’re trying to list something normal, not too pricey?

If all of these check out, call EBay and ask.
