Can't add Size attribute in Variations listing for a shirt?

Hi everyone hopefully someone can help me here i'm trying to add a Size attribute in Variations listing for a shirt. I gives me an error message saying " To add this attribute, remove the value added for it in Item Specifics."

You can see I have nothing selected under Size for Item Description..

There is a glitch in the system, has been this way for years.  If you add a comma on the end of the word "size" it should allow you to do it then.

You would want to exit out of this area just for a moment and then go back to the top of your listing where you see the title scroll down slowly and write under categories is another category titled "

"Item Specifics" whatever you have listed in the size selection in this area, just delete it and then go back and you'll be able to do it. This woucl be the same with color.

Incredibly, Incredibly Stupid.  I am quite annoyed by the fact that I had to come to this thread to figure this out. Crazy that ebay still hasn't addressed this
