If by small stuff you mean inexpensive stuff how inexpensive are you talking about?  You should price items where the selling price covers what you paid for the item and eBay fees and a profit. 

 I see people selling inexpensive items where the selling price is actually putting them in the hole.  Can't understand the rationale.

You've got lots of competition out there, especially from China.  It may be a waste of time and energy.  I wouldn't recommend it, unless they are high end key chains made from quality accessories. (Real silver and gold)  Best of luck.

You will probably "lose money" selling cheap items.   EBAY charges selling fees on (purchase price + shipping costs + sales tax) plus 30 cent handling charge.   You are having "listing fees" to pay.

"Try", meaning that just because you're offering something for sale, doesn't mean that you'll be able to sell that something. There may not be any interest in the specific items you're offering. Or, you may get overrun with orders - one never knows.

I don't see keychains listed specifically in eBays restricted or prohibited items (https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/prohibited-restricted-items?id=4207&s...), so it doesn't appear that they would have any objection to you trying to sell them.

You are actually asking us if you can sell a keychain on Ebay? Do you know how to search for keychains on Ebay? If I type in 'keychain' in the Search box it returns to me 1,543,889 results as of right now. If you want to compete against 1,543,889 other keychain listings you are welcome to try. But why would you?

Yes you can sell key chains.  To my knowledge they are not restricted items yet.  If you make your own key chains that no one else sells you may do well.

Are you registered as a Seller with Managed Payments and a checking account attached to it?  You need to do that first.

You will need a viable sales plan.  Drop-shipping from China is typically not viable for a Seller or the Buyer.  Only benefits the drop-shipper.

Keychains are not likely to be something many shop for unless vintage, HTF, unique, well branded (think Porsche, BMW, Shelby, Harley Davidson, etc)
