Can I add my shop's name to my listings title?

Hello!

I was wondering if I can add my shop's name, Evezbeadz in the titles listing?

Ex.  Evezbeadz Id Badge Holder Retractable Reel

Is this ok? I know you are not allowed to add special characters or emojis?

Thank You in advance!

You could ... but like the other poster said, why would you "waste" valuable space on something that will not help sell your item?

Re: Can I add my shop's name to my listings title?

I see a competitor of yours doing that.

I would use the extra space to describe the item or add a "NEW!" or a ''FREE SHIPPING!" or a "US SELLER!" or something like that.

Good luck to you!

Re: Can I add my shop's name to my listings title?

Why would you want to do that?

The title of a listing is prime real estate.  Sellers get the best value and exposure for well written titles as buyers search by them.  So keywords are extremely important to be words a buyer may choose to search by.  It is not advertising space!

Putting "new" or "free shipping" in a title is a waste of valuable space too.  There are filters anybody can use for those.  Using words that someone by search by is what is important while still describing the item accurately.

It might be prime real estate, but if the map route doesn't take you to the address, then no one sees it to buy it.

Search is just soooo bad here. It's the only place I know of where you need to enter LESS words to find a listing - even if you are searching for all of the exact words in the title. You usually find those under 'related'. It's pathetic.

True.  But something (anything) but your username. Something that will help you sell the item.

I might disagree with you a little about the "free shipping". I rarely use the free shipping filter so i assume there are others like me.  So seeing it right there in the title is a HUGE benefit.  Just my humble opinion.

Why do you think your shop name would help in search?

When a list of items that I search for comes up it shows me right there in bold type when it is "Free Shipping", and it also shows me the condition right under the item title if it is "new", "pre-owned",  "for parts", "refurbished".....................

When I sell I do not waste limited title space by putting the condition in the title unless I want to highlight a flaw for the non-readers.(and that may not even help)

Which is even more of a reason NOT to take up your space for a title with something that a buyer is never going to use to search by.

Are you saying that buyers are searching by Store names?  The name of a store doesn't have to be the same as a User ID/name.

Putting Free Shipping in the title is a waste of good space.  Not only does a buyer have the ability to use the filter for listing with free returns on the left side of the search pages, the search return tells you right on your screen, just under the price of the item if it ships for free.

Re: Can I add my shop's name to my listings title?

I believe the answer to your question is Yes, you can add EvezBeadz to your title.

If you were working on building a brand, developing a repeat customer base, or doing a lot of self-promotion outside Ebay it could be quite useful.

Re: Can I add my shop's name to my listings title?

Shipping is prohibited in the title, it's considered a manipulation.  It doesn't refer to the actual product, only a service related to the purchase of the product.  Ebay already includes the shipping as a separate reference on all listings.

Re: Can I add my shop's name to my listings title?

I looked at your item titles.

I didn't see any words I would delete or abbreviate in order to fit your store name in the title, plus you are already using practically all the spaces allowed in a title.

What has prompted this idea?

Maybe we can offer a different solution if we knew what you are attempting to accomplish.  (besides the general more sales like all of us)
