Are there other Ebay sellers having MANY "Not Recieved" item(s) cases opened?
DUE to Canada Posts Disruption of Service the "Scammers" are taking full advantage &
opening "Not Recieved" cases which Sellers all know if a item is shipped without tracking the Seller will lose 100%
of the time & the buyer is granted a Full Refund
Yes I know if shipped without tracking Seller is taking a Risk
( I shipped to the US awhile back with tracking & buyer opened a "Not Recieved" case & even though the tracking showed item "In Transit" with an estamated delivery date Ebay still refunded the buyer??? when I called Ebay
I was told the buyer has yet to revieve the item & if they are honest they will contact you to arrange payment?? **bleep**??? needless to say not only was I out the $135 refund given by Ebay I also lost the item)
Does anyone know a buyer who will pay $12-$20 for shipping in Canada for an item that cost $5.00?
I certainly don't know any.
I've been selling on Ebay for 8 years & I have never had as many "Not Recieved" cases opened since Canada Posts rotating strikes. (I've had maybe 5 cases at most opened in 8 years & usally it's this time of year)
Funny how Buyers claim "Not Recieved" BUT when I send out a secondary lettermail most of the time it's recieved & NEVER has one been "Returned to Seller"
SO what does this tell us???
Guess I'll STOP selling until Canada Post quits their whining & thinks about the poor canadian who by the looks of it won't get the $15 minimum wage come 2019
One more thing it's funny how all recent cases are from buyers with 2000+ feedback
In my opinion they know how the system works & are doing nothing but taking advantage of the situation

Certainly could be scammers taking advantage, but considering the strike, could also be non receipt/delayed receipt by buyers who know nothing about the strike. You are between a rock and a hard place with no tracking. Probably best to hold off selling until it's settled, if you can't manage the tracking cost.

Sending anything anywhere without tracking is just asking for trouble, if a buyer wants an item badly enough they will pay for a tracked service, it's the scammers out there who do not want a tracked service for obvious reasons.

We would try not to ship anything that way till it gets fixed. Best regards

Thanks for the tag @papermoneyforme
Hi @masterpcs2011 - we're working to protect your seller status from any impact due to the labour disruption. These protections include removal of feedback, as well as granting additional time for items to arrive in the event an Item Not Received request is opened and escalated to us.
If you have a Not Received request that is opened and escalated during the strike window please work with CS directly to get the extension applied. Thanks!
