Buyers address is not showing up after they paid and it says ship

I had someone recently buy an item from me  I waited until it said paid ship item now .I click on ship now and it just gives me her/his email address Instead of the physical address to ship the item to then after that the usual follows behind  marked item shipped add tracking # leave feedback ect. But no address I thought about just asking the customer what her/his address is  and send the item but then I read that I needed to only send to a verified address and if she /he gives me an address I could not verify the address .anyway what do you all think of this how do I get a address thanks

All you can do is cancel the order due to "problem with the buyer's address" and try to redo the transaction. Be sure to cancel the order before the shipment due date or you will get a defect on your account.

?? So when you click to create a postage label in ebay, an email shows up where the buyers shipping address should be? Does it even have a state or zip code?

If this is the case, that would mean the ebay page would have some sort of red text error prompt telling you the address is invalid and postage can’t be created, right? Think of the can of worms it would open if eBay allows you to make a postage label this way.

See if there is a address in paypal if they paid there. That is the address you need to ship to anyway. If nothing, cancel and refund in paypal. But you will lose your paypal fees. You need to try and fight that since they had no valid address.

I have had 3 of those in the last couple of months, and all were from Puerto Rico. It actually said in PayPal something like "We have no address on file", but also "OK to ship". The address came up in my stamps program and also on eBay if I clicked "Print Shipping Label". I shipped all three and had no problem. You can ask them for their address and see if it matches eBay's. But if it's a pricey item and you don't feel comfortable about it, by all means, cancel. I would call or write PayPal and see if they will waive the fees. I sold something and shipped it out and a day later got one of those "Suspicious buyer" e-mails from eBay, telling me if I hadn't shipped it out, not to. I already had, but wrote to PayPal and told them I thought I should get my fees back since EBAY told me the transaction was canceled and they refunded them

Wait a minute. When this happens and you already shipped it out, eBay/PayPal doesn’t pull the funds from your account, right? Because regardless of suspicion, when you ship something out that was paid for and you have valid tracking number showing delivery, you should be seller protected. Whatever happens afterwards will not affect your funds and no longer require the seller’s involvement.
