Had a buyer make several low ball offers on a pair of BIN pants, I sent an offer for the lowest I could go and she accepted $34 and paid. Today I get a message that she received the item today, but "Amazon has it for $27 now, please price match" with a crying emoji.
SMFH. Does eBay offer any seller protection against buyers trying to renegotiate post-sale if I ignore her and she leaves neg feedback? Really hate this platform sometimes.

My best advice would be send back a message with:
"Sorry you aren't happy with your purchase. Please return for a refund."
That's it, nothing more.

Ebay does not price match after the sale. Smiley face 🙂
Better make that Sad face 😞
It's not the platform, it's the people.
Good luck!

Blocking them also isn't a bad idea.😨

I'm curious as to why she didn't buy from Amazon if the price was more to her liking there. However, be that as it may, I would simply advise her that eBay and I have no price match guarantee but I would be happy to refund her purchase price upon return of the item. I would not respond further and await her return of the merchandise. I would also place her on my BBL immediately.

(Ebay does not price match after the sale.)
If you find a better price on a (qualifying item) within 48 hours of making a purchase on eBay.....
Best Price Guarantee

Ohhh that being the case the seller should advise the buyer to contact ebay customer support!

Just tell her that pants don't qualify - they're not a Big Deal..

It will only get worse if you continue to engage this person or negotiate.
As others have said, just make it short and sweet:
Tell her to return the clothing for a full refund.
You can note, if you care to, that the pants do not qualify for eBay's Best Price Guarantee, which applies to only a narrow a narrow range of items.

And if you read the guarantee.....it's 48 hours after PURCHASE, not receipt of item. Also, note she used the word NOW. That means it probably wasn't cheaper on Amazon when she bought from you, but the price has gone down since them.

I am sorry you are in this position.
Frankly, I would have put her on the blocked bidder list after the first two low ball offers. Sorry, but I have found when someone does that they are trouble later.

i would do two things:
1 - ignore; no good can come from responding to her communication
2 - add to BBL

That depends ... what size were the pants?
