Hi all.
I can't seem to find any recent info regarding cases like this and was wondering what the current rules are. I can't even find anything on the help pages which seems a bit odd.
Buyer bought 6 items from me (digital products, delivered via email) in September, she opened a case about 10 days ago saying under item not received yet in her message with it she acknowledges receipt but says she cannot use them. This must be nonsense as they are word documents that I have sold lots of and never had any issues. I responded offering to send them again in case they had been corrupted or something but asked her to confirm her details as it's too old to be still on eBay's system and I only keep basic information for accounting purposes. No response. Followed it up with a short reminder after 5 days, no response.
If I just leave this to time out will it still be closed in my favour?
Thanks

Unfortunately, eBay's software has misdirected you to the discussion boards for the US site (ebay.com). You'll want to post this question on your "home" board so it can be better--and more accurately--answered by your fellow sellers; for example, ebay.com offers neither buyer nor seller protection for digital items. Does ebay.co.uk?
And that's why it's important to post this on ebay.co.uk. There are differences in the two platforms that make UK members infinitely more qualified to respond to your question(s).

OP is in the UK. S/he needs to post this on ebay.co.uk. US blues can't/won't help.
