Maybe that info box was added to address all those customers that order adult items then freak out because they think others can see what they bought?

This also appeared yesterday on the FB left for others page-

Do we really need to shove it in buyers' faces that they can leave follow ups to our comments when we reply to their crazy negs? It's not shown in my screenshot, but the "follow up" link is right there next to the FB left.

I'm guessing they may be phasing out the feedback forum link that allows you to reply to feedbacks- so now you'll have to do it through these new links on your main FB page.

Looks to me like they are probably just adding another way to do this...which might be handier, especially on a phone?, than doing it the regular way. I don't see a problem with it.

I think a more common issue would be: I buy a Christmas gift for a friend, and the item is identified in my feedback. This reassures me that if my friend looks at my feedback , my friend won't be shown the item I purchased.

I took a look at this, and ALL the feedback followup on buyer's feedback shows MY user name!! There was one buyer who had left a lot of negative and neutral feedback (oh, boy. she was a pain. Long story.) Numerous sellers had responded, AND ALL OF THE RESPONSES WERE SHOWN AS COMING FROM ME!!!!!

Wow, that looked bad (even though the seller's ID associated with the transaction was accurate. Just the Response to Feedback was attributed to me.)

Not to be alarmist, though. I'm certain this only happens when I look at the feedback. If some other seller looks into this, I'm sure their user name appears.

Still, it's pretty shoddy on Ebay's part.
