Buyer claimed both new items I sent were opened. "Please credit" she says. I have eBay send a return label. eBay says don't refund until you get your items back. Ok. Not 15 minutes later she opens a NAD case. eBay says they've sent the label and once it shows delivered they will take the funds out of my account to pay her back. Why can she open 2 different requests? I already said return for refund, and I DON'T send out open bottles. I'm thinking she's going to switch out her old bottles for my new ones. Any recourse?
I've also reported her, which is probably as effective as if I told my cat about it

Were the 2 items both in the same listing? Or were there 2 listings? If there were 2 listings, even though she made a combined payment, she can open a case for each in eBay.

I had a listing with a lot of items available and she ordered 2 and claimed both were opened. I sell only new items, and if the outer seal happens to have come off when it was shipped to me, I always check the inner seal. And I haven't had to do that in a long time. For her to claim she received 2 bottles, both opened is a little out there

If it dont come back the way you sent it you dont have to refund. Make sure to take photos of how it arrives. Best regards

Unless I'm mistaken, if she requested a return using the not as described reason the SNAD was opened at that time.

You made the effort, and did something. What more can you do ?
Give kitty a hug.

I had a possible solution for your open bottles plight. However, I have no idea what you sell in bottles or the type of bottles are used. Well, maybe next time.

Possibly the buyer was concerned that the outer seal was off, if you by chance missed this. You might want to note that in your description, if you don't already do so.

OP has 5 days to get the item in the mail to you. When it goes past that, you can call CS and ask them to close the case in your favor.

So the request for a credit came through messages? You sent a label THEN she opened the SNAD?
Sounds like the little snowflake expected an instant credit and then opened a case thinking to get it that way without a return.
The OP wouldn't have been able to have ebay issue a label if this is what happened.
