Buyer Entitlement out of Control

Buyer buys 3 items on Buy 2, get 1 free.

Sends hateful email about being "ripped off"!!!

Why is the cheapest one the FREE one??  Who do we think we are???

*sigh*

Look order up.

Item # 1 was $13.87

Item #2 was $13.89

Item #3 was $13.69

All had free shipping.  So the rant/nasty gram was over 18-20 cents?????

Delivered in 3 days btw.  Not that it matters or the Buyer cares.  This carp is absurd.  I just lost $$$ spending any time at all addressing their email!

Where in the world does this buyer shop that has the most EXPENSIVE item as the freebie?  I want to shop there, too.

Honestly, you get all kinds coming through here.  I recall one seller got a neg because the shipping charged was 50 cents more than the actual shipping.  I think these people have bigger problems than the nickles and dimes.

Seems  a little ridiculous. I would reply positively and apologize for the mistake. Offer to refund them the difference once they pay and see how they respond.

After that, i would create a text document that explains how you determine the Buy 2 get 1 Free item. (save document for future listings) You can paste it to each auction so it will deter actions from other buyers complaining about not knowing.

Dunno....but we're talking about 20 cents more ??

They got a "free" item + free shipping and some how we are horrible seller?

Just so very tired of the attitude.  Or whatever this is called.

Why should the seller apologize for the buyer's mistake?

The buyer misinterpreted the way this kind of deal works.

Exactly.  They do not get to "choose" the free one - it is always the least expensive one, correct??

Traditionally yes, even at brick and mortar.

My local grocery store always does buy one get one free NY and ribeyes so I always choose the packs that are very close in price for this reason.

Yes.  Always.  At any store I've ever been to.   Be sure to add them to your BBL.  What a nutcase!

Man Katz, you must have a magnet on your forehead for deadbeat buyer's.

Self entitlement coupled with utter stupidity, no cure for that.

Everywhere you go it is equal, or lesser value on the "free" item.

Send them the $0.18, and tell them how big an.................................................... they are. (don't we wish we could)

No accounting for those that have no ability to grasp the obvious, and to be hateful over 18 cents.  Is that the type of person that is referred  to as "low grade".  Seriously, 18 cents !!!!!!!!
