Let me tell you something. I do not sell extremely high volume but the percentage of my packages going out with USPS are getting sorted in the WRONG DIRECTION LIKE a package going from NC to FL is ending up in the NOTORIOUS BACKED UP ST LOUIS DITRIBUTIONS CENTER when it shopuld have gone south th FL. THIS WEEK HAS BEEN A TOTAL nightmare for me having to switch to FED EX with extra costs and then sending some of these packages out USPS PRIORITY MAIL getting sent all over the country before they make it to my customers. The whole system is a bleeping mess.
THIS!
This was a thread about USPS (not tarrifs).
And If someone, does something, to USPS and makes it work? I'm all far that
Because it's sure not working now

It’s not working and it’s getting pretty bad to the point where I think ebay is just going to have to start THE WARNINGS ON THE WEBSITE TO USE ANOTHER SERVICE IF this keeps up.

@redlinear wrote:If I was refunding every INR that I've received in the last few months, I'd be out at least $2000 so far. PLUS the shipping cost.
I "was" refunding to begin to with, so that $250's already gone.
So I stopped refunding and decided to let eBay do it for me.
eBay seems to be taking more time, dragging it out several more days than normal, before refunding. Which is good for Money, but still....Those buyers won't be back.
USPS is causing this.
EVERY SINGLE INR is a USPS shipment.
And I don't think hoping, praying, or a "good scolding" is going to fix it.
Something's gotta be done, and at least it appears that somebody might just try.
Let it drag out ABSOLUTELY!!!

No one really cares in the real world. Just a few that post online where it really matters to none.
That seems incredibly sad and dangerous based on history.
I agree. 😓 Some people just feel the need to fear monger and spread negative energy online. All we can do is try to help them when we can.
Stay strong @fern*wood and thanks for the props.

The USPS has dealt with declining mail volume year over year, less retail offices and less customer visits, coupled with increasing delivery routes and points. Despite this, USPS managed to add real time GPS vehicle and package location services (eVS, IV-MTR, and PTR) and turned a profit for 1st qrt, fiscal year 2025. According to the Universal Postal Union, which ranks postal services, USA ranks 6th in the world with an index score of 86.4 out of 100. Trump wants us at 100, with Switzerland. Try to be just a tad grateful.
Also, you know how I know you sponges soak up legacy media: two days ago, MSNBC began referring to Donald Trump as, "His Majesty", followed by Politico with "Yes King". Over the last 24 hours, all LM outlets have been using the exact phrase or some iteration thereof. What do we see today on Khoros forum, TDS posters referring to Trump as his majesty or some version thereof.
To the victor goes the spoils, be happy it is us, the American people.
Trump is here to help, not steal from you like some politicians.

He's here to help?
Sorry, i'm not buying in to that.
I don't belong to the cult.

Kind of misleading...take into account how they are using their money to pay for 'lawyers' in lawsuits....
I wonder how many millions or even billions one person here has paid which can lower the 'after'?

I think the main fear is the privatization of the USPS. And with Trump and Musk in power, that may be a very real threat.
Many parts of the US depend on the USPS for service because UPS/FedEx doesn’t go to them. And what private company would accept to handle letter mail for the price USPS charges?
The list of countries that do not have a postal service is rather short: Eritrea, Guatemala, Nauru, and Tuvalu….

Remind us who put out a fake Time magazine cover this week with Trump wearing a crown and the caption, Long Live the King.
Hint: The answer has something to do with the White House and the guy who loves fake Time covers.

Now that is just silly talk. From what i understand, they will keep first class and priority and let the other carriers deal with the rest. Downsize to where it is manageable. I just don't know if Sam Britton is the right person for the job or not. We all wanted Dejoy out and now we all have to deal with the consequences.
Maybe this administration should stop talking about having Canada their 51st state and look at how great their mail service is. They never have issues with their mail.

No media called Trump any of that before he called himself king:
THAT is where it all started. Nothing to do with the media, legacy or not, or TDS, it’s all Trump.

Me and @chevymontecarlo88 went there once. It was hot and we rented an El Camino with no A/C. And drank lots of tequila
