Bidders bids not showing up on item

I just listed my first item for sell on eBay and have received offers through my message page but the offers are not showing up on my item page. How do I get offers to show up so bidders can see last bid and bid against each other?  Thanks for any info.

Offers are not bids. eBay isn’t set up for buyers to “offer” against each other.

Being a new seller, selling an expensive item, you'll probably get a lot of offers, which most will turn out to be scams.

Offers are not the same as bids.

Thanks everybody for the helpful info. I have received “offers” but I must not have received any bids so nothing is showing up on my item page. Thanks again.
