You sign up for Managed Payments and once the payment is processed, they'll send the funds to your checking account on the schedule you chose.

Once buyer pays for your item managed payments sends it to your checking account, once buyer pays it usually takes 2-3 days minus weekends for ebay to process the sale. Make sure your using seller hub and look at the payments tab.. ebay handles all payments

In addition to the above ^^^ you will no doubt have a 21 days hold on funds if you are a new seller

First you have to list something to sell.  Then wait for it!   Before that follow the above information.

How do I get my payment from the customer

Neither the seller nor eBay can force a buyer to pay for an item. The buyer has to choose to do it. 

That is why so many sellers use fixed price with immediate payment required.
