In the past 24 years of "eBaying", I've tried different months, and still haven't determined a "best time". Thoughts?

I live in Mississippi. Yesterday, 28 February, it was 81 degrees. I was NOT wearing long pants and long sleeves, even though it's still "winter".

Clothes will sell year round to someone somewhere.

Personally I don't buy clothes online (other than T-shirts) because I'm just so hard to fit. I have to try things on.

You can't sell it if you don't list it. Even here in New England, everyone is thinking about spring. So I'd say: How about listing them today!

It is always spring or summer somewhere and people do travel. If you have the free listings why not keep them listed year round?

In S. FL we basically wear the same stuff year round. Going to be in the high 80s low 90s all week.

It's Transitional right now so I would start listing.

It is always summer/winter somewhere but that 'somewhere' is on the other side of the world and expensive to ship to (and has their own stuff) - I don't leave off-season stuff running - my store is too small to have a lot of stuff just sitting.

Maybe it's what I carry, but the number of out of season items I've sold to travelers, people in the southern hemisphere (when I was shipping internationally) and places where it's warm all year has been "I can count on one hand." This is even when I was full time.

ETA: I tend to take truisms with a grain of salt. Someone else may have great luck.
