Hi fellow ebayers.
a few hours ago I counter offered a best offer to a buyer and they almost immediatly accepted, however they have not paid. My question is can buyers select an amount that automatically gets accepted?
I have 2 buyers right now that bought and haven't paid, it's getting pretty annoying.
Thanks!
Ryan

No, there's no buyer equivalent of the auto-accept or -decline that sellers can use when setting up a listing. The offers had to have been accepted manually and deliberately. Even if a listing has "Immediate payment required", that doesn't apply to auctions.
The buyers apparently were online to accept your counteroffers, but have some reason for waiting to pay -- waiting for a paycheck to hit their accounts, or security sign-in issues, or they're not at home and forgot their PayPal password, the reason doesn't matter since you have to wait 2 days before you can do anything about it.

They have a few days to pay. It does get annoying but its part of it. They can put in the max there are willing to pay for the item. Best regards

Thank all, I guess it is a friday so it could be a pay day. I'm having to file more and more buyer not paying claims i've been selling here and there for a while but recently started to increase my offerings so maybe it's just a percent of sales don't pay.
I just don't get it, why bid if you're going to go silent once you buy? At least have the decency to say "hey sorry I changed my mind would you mind canceling the order?"

Yes it would be the decent thing to do. But expect the worst hope for the best. Best regards
