I have been restricted now a total of 4 times for items that are 100% in compliance with the rules, and when you call them, They tell you its restricted when it clearly is not. Example the second time i was restricted i was selling an RCBS 22-250 2 die reloading set.... they said it was an assault rifle accessory. This is simply idiocy. then for another reloading die set because it has "micro adjust" bullet seating feature on the seater die. The person or persons making these decisions no doubt live in countries they cant even own a firearm and they are incompetent. I am just livid with dealing with this. I just want to sell my stuff and be left alone but i keep getting flagged and restricted for no reason and eBay only employs idiots that are incapable of doing their job correctly. Now i have been banned again because i listed a 10rd magazine from the 1940s... and a kid reviewed it and said he "thinks" i could hold more than 10 rounds........THIS IS ABSOLUTELY PREPOSTEROUS!!!!

Your items are being reviewed and taken down by bots, it is not a person looking at the listings.
Customer service is not trained to make those decisions and can not give you the exact reason why the system took them down.
Since you have been restricted 4 times already you need to be very careful in what you list, and DO NOT relist any item that was removed. You could be permanently banned from selling if you continue to have items removed..

Once you get on Ebays target, you remain there.

I'm over this mess. It's like Al Gore made an uber liberal algorithm to shaft me personally and i'm plain **bleep** off. This is how I have been making a living and eBay don't give a **bleep** about their sellers. I hope a new platform becomes available that values their sellers and eBay goes bankrupt.

Isn't that the truth!

Yeah, people have been saying that ever since eBay started. I understand your frustration. I would suggest a cooling-off period on listing anything close to a chance of being pulled. The bots will get tired and move on after a few weeks to a month.

I would never blame Al Gore for anything but wasting good air.

If you are making a living on this site, be very careful what you list. The bots are taking your listings down and eBay does NOT have any staff to verify a 100,000 takedowns a week or month or whatever, it is automated and that ain't going to change. Don't relist the items that are taken down.
Try to find some common denominators within the listings that were flagged.
Best of luck.

Blaming "the person or persons making these decisions [who] no doubt live in countries they cant even own a firearm," makes about as much sense as blaming Al Gore for your situation.

A bottle of Hoppe's 9 or a cleaning swab could be an " assault rifle accessory". eBay is very jumpy about guns and you need to stop listing items like that. You will be banned from selling for life if they keep removing items.

Do you want to be right, or do you want to continue making a living here? There is no fighting the takedowns, because even if eBay grants permission to relist, the chances of your same listings getting taken down again is nearing a 100%.
You are about to be permanently restricted because penalties here are cumulative. Once you get banned, there is no chance of reinstatement, no appeal. Ever.
Though you can hope for a better venue with liberal seller-friendly terms or pray for eBay to go under, the reality is it’s not going anywhere, and is still the best choice with the most traffic for many categories.

EBay will always be right because I'm pretty sure they leave themselves a vague term like not limited to, similar, at our discretion, etc.
