I'm back... I ran my eBay business for 15 years as a hobby and had fun selling, sourcing. During a nasty divorce I had 2 choices close my business or share my gross income 50/50, not net, gross lol.
I decided to come back (crazy no?) I glanced at the forums and things didn't change much. Same old, same old, bad buyers, too many high fees, eBay unfairness... we can't stop complaining lol
In the days, I used SixBit, love it even though I had to run a server. Today with the all-cloud of things I tried several tools and pick the one that makes my life almost easy (remember, it's a hobby).
So, hello everyone 🙂 and if there are new eBay tools that showed uo in the last 3 years, let me know 🙂

There are probably some I don't know about, but I also use 6-Bit, and I am very happy with it. It works great for me and I never seem to suffer from the eBay Glitches that other sellers complain about here. I've been using it for about 6 years.
Something to beware of - eBay's new Payment Management system does NOT allow you to use a third party to list your items, so do NOT opt into it until they correct that issue, which seems to be something they plan on doing about a year or 18 months from now.

One huge thing that changed is that today it's vital to make listings mobile-optimized. So templates like the Italian shoes, and embedded pictures, are a really bad idea.

Thanks! I'll make the changes.

You also need to look at the link policies ... your international shoe size converter link is broken (probably blocked)
Here's a good tool ... run your listings through here and see what pops up

There's a good bunch of html/css peeps over in the Tools and Apps Board (including the author of the above tools) if you have any questions or issues with the new active content/mobile friendly requirements.

Oh ... and ....
Since nobody has mentioned it yet ...
Brush up on Seller Standards and Service Metrics .... it might save you some grief down the line 🙂

Keep an eye on your Dashboard. What you think is "not a big deal", eBay may say otherwise about.

I saw that one and wondered if it should be my home page 🙂
Thanks!

Latest and biggest debacle is that folks are opting in to "managed payments" and finding out that buyers can't purchase with PayPal.

Another one is that the new markdown manager tool will not allow you to include an item in a sale until it has been listed and listed at the same price for 14 days without a price change.

hum... I'm setup good old PP only... who hold money until it says so lol

WoW... ok, 2 weeks before markdown 🙂 No fee for markdown?
