BUG - can't leave feedback

When I click "leave feedback", blank page with eBay header loads.

You might want to try again later as this could be a glitch.  You have 60 days in which to leave feedback.

You can also post this on the Tech Issues board.  It's said that Ebay employees monitor that Board.

Give it another try, I just went in under another of my accounts and was able to do it without any problems.

You might try logging out of Ebay and logging back in.

That's pretty much exactly what I have seen for a very long time in Firefox 3.6.24 (version from 2011) - it doesn't have the capability to render the technologies in the new feedback pages eBay switched to a few years ago. Works fine in FF31 and FF52 (haven't bothered testing FF11, FF21, etc)

My point is that if it's not a transient glitch and persists, it may browser related, and you may be using a current, but incompatible browser.

Safari? Edge? IE? Tried another browser?

Obligatory "have you cleared cache and cookies and restarted the browser" ?

That second link does load in FF3.6.24 (woohoo!), but the leave feedback links redirect over to the new

format once again that is a blank page as in the OP screenshot.

Yep. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the link you posted - I should have remembered and recognized it by the URL format, and when it opened correctly, I was like "Whoa."

But when it redirected to the new format feedback page (and thus failed in FF3.6.24), I was like "It figures."

Same behavior as a lot of other half transitioned eBay features, and now PayPal for me. I doggedly use the classic PayPal overview history page, and have a Redirector rule to force the view back to it now that PayPal tries really hard to redirect me away from it, but they also now redirect the transaction details views I launch from there to the new format pages, and almost all the other PP functions accessible from that page (wallet, settings, etc) have been the new format for a long time. So they humor me by letting me have the classic page, and torment me with redirects for everything I can do on it.


Anyway, the question here is whether that link you provided redirects for OP also, or if it is at least a temporary workaround.

At the moment it appears to be a "you" problem since nobody here can replicate it.

That type of thing is a very, very low priority for eBay to "fix". They aren't even going to wake up the programmer because a single user has reported an issue.

You never answered any of the questions about what browser you are using, if you tried clearing cache and cookies, or tried another browser.

We've given you some options, and that's about as good as it's going to get.

Sorry, didn't see, skipped over that part.

I tried IE, Firefox, Chrome. Cleared cache, cookies, etc, tried another PC and still nothing.

That is the URL I use, then I filter by "Shipped, awaiting feedback" , check all orders, click leave feedback and then leads to a blank white page with eBay header.

Even if I select one order instead of all I still get the blank page. The issue clearly isn't related to anything on my side.

Ok. Not a browser issue.

It may be account related then.

A couple of others are having similar issues with their orders pages in SH, and have tried multiple browsers, etc. One I recall see the blank orders page only on only one of his multiple accounts, and same failure on different machines, using different internet connections.


I'm out of ideas for bulk feedback leaving except for trying an older browser like Firefox 52. A lot of eBay issues crop up in the latest updated versions of Chrome and Firefox that are non issues in older versions.

Might be worth a shot. You can install a portable, completely standalone version of Firefox 52 in 1 minute and check it out (I use all portable versions 2.0.20, 3.6.24, 4, 11, 21, 22, 28, 29, 31, 40, 45, 52). Can even stick it on a flashdrive.

Have you tried from "my ebay>>All Selling"?

I have the page bookmarked, since ebay doesn't seem to want you to go there anymore … but it's the only way to get to "deleted" items.

Are you sure you didn't already leave the feedbacks for everyone, maybe inadvertently or something? Your feedback profile is showing that you left a ton of feedbacks in the last month alone.
