I keep having this problem and I'm at my wit's end. My authentic items ( i purchase at Nordstrom rack, Saks off, Neiman Marcus last call, and sometimes have to sell when return period ends, but I ended up not using the item.) So i know they are authentic! They have tags that i always show in the listing. I have my receipts too.
It's always after a year or two they have been up! It's always the new items.
I can not fix something that I did not do anything wrong on.
It does not seem to come from VERO, but from Ebay itself. Who decides they are not authentic? They allow random people complain about it and they remove it? Competitors?
Any suggestions?
I'm at a point im afraid to list anything . The message states it's a final warning. Before that they removed Moncler jacket that i purchased at Nordstrom. Luckily i found my receipt and was able to just return it to nordstrom. The jacket has been up for more than a year too! So they can strike ANYTIME on ANY ITEM.
The message is below.
Thank you
Hello mezmaridesignercloset,
We removed this item to protect you and your buyers, because we believe it is likely to be counterfeit. -- Electronics or accessories that use or bear the brand name, logo or trademark of a company that didn’t manufacture the item
-- Bootleg recordings from concerts or other live shows
-- Unauthorized or pirated copies of movies, videos or software
- Listings with photos that hide or blur trademarks are not allowed

Nordstrom Rack is Nordstrom's outlet. I used to shop at the original Rack which was in the basement of the flagship Nordstrom store in downtown Seattle - they just expanded it. Yes, there's a lot of over-priced rubbish in there, and there's the usual filler junk, counterfeits and 'switches' definitely can be found (as in any outlet), but many of the products are simply marked down Nordstrom merchandise, oftentimes overages in size runs, returns, shelf pulls, etc.
Interesting article with some good points, but this cracks me up - the "assessment" by this contributor: "The pattern was great and the dress has the perfect fit the way DVF makes all her clothes, but something was really wrong," she explains during a recent shopping trip in New York City. "I think it might have been the fabric or maybe the stitching. I don't know, but I haven't gone back since."
ROFL - Bad choice for a quote. Fits great, but 'the fabric or the stitching...I don't know.' Good grief - did that girl even now what she was talking about? I used to work in a sewing factory and it could be one, the other or both and still be authentic but snuck through QA.

Hahahahah How do you know where i shopped and for which item? Would you like to see my receipt for Moncler jacket from Nordstrom? Though i do like Nordstrom Rack a lot, and shop there too. Thanks, shopping police 🙂
FYI, Nordstrom rack sells merchandise that did not sell at Nordstrom, or was returned IN ADDITION to their own merchandise created or purchased for the rack. I just do not see how it's relevant to my original post.

Lol, even Chanel bags have problems with stitching sometimes. Makes a lot of brand followers made. I have taken up on your advise and posted in a fashion forum, as i dont think people here have any idea. I even posted the pictures of the items in question. I'm determined to get to the bottom of it, lol. The listing ebay removed was merchandise from Nordstrom, NOT Nordstrom rack, for example a Moncler jacket, that I even registered with the Moncler site and had a receipt from Nordstrom. Removed by ebay as fake. This is really confusing to me, as so many sellers are obviously selling fakes on a large scale and Ebay does nothing, so why go after the little person selling authentic personal items from their closet. There must be something I'm missing.

It’s more naive to think eBay has the ability to identify counterfeit goods with any amount of certainty via photos meant to display the entire price rather than specific parts.

I think because somebody who you are in direct competition has reported you. I just had it happen with Grateful dead live concert recordings. There has been maybe 50 sold just like mine over the last 6 months and mine is the only one flagged. And ebay has made it without recourse. There are 10 on right now exactly like mine and I reported them and nothing has changed yet. Hopefully they will see the light of just keep showing them their i justice and maybe a groundswell will help us. Good luck to all.
