I keep having this problem and I'm at my wit's end. My authentic items ( i purchase at Nordstrom rack, Saks off, Neiman Marcus last call, and sometimes have to sell when return period ends, but I ended up not using the item.) So i know they are authentic! They have tags that i always show in the listing. I have my receipts too.
It's always after a year or two they have been up! It's always the new items.
I can not fix something that I did not do anything wrong on.
It does not seem to come from VERO, but from Ebay itself. Who decides they are not authentic? They allow random people complain about it and they remove it? Competitors?
Any suggestions?
I'm at a point im afraid to list anything . The message states it's a final warning. Before that they removed Moncler jacket that i purchased at Nordstrom. Luckily i found my receipt and was able to just return it to nordstrom. The jacket has been up for more than a year too! So they can strike ANYTIME on ANY ITEM.
The message is below.
Thank you
Hello mezmaridesignercloset,
We removed this item to protect you and your buyers, because we believe it is likely to be counterfeit. To make this decision we consider the details you provided about your item, reports that we receive from brands or members of the community, buyer feedback or the reasons buyers returned the item. Please do not relist this item.
Items removed for this policy cannot be relisted. Please ensure that your future listings are for authentic items only. For these items, they should be described accurately and completely, so buyers know that it is an authentic item.
- Counterfeit products are illegal and not allowed on eBay. Examples include:

-- Electronics or accessories that use or bear the brand name, logo or trademark of a company that didn’t manufacture the item
-- Bootleg recordings from concerts or other live shows
-- Unauthorized or pirated copies of movies, videos or software
- Listings with photos that hide or blur trademarks are not allowed
- If you’re not certain that your item is authentic, or if an authenticator has been unable to confirm its authenticity, it may not be listed
- We may remove listings if we receive buyer complaints that the item is not authentic. These items may not be relisted
Because we have sent you an educational notice about this policy previously, we want to give you this final warning.
- Listings that didn't follow this policy have been ended.
- We have credited all associated fees except for payments processing fees and the final value fee for your listing(s).
Listings that don't follow this policy in the future will be ended. In addition, there will be a temporary 3-day restriction placed on your account, and your other listings will be hidden from search during this period. All fees paid or payable for listings that are ended and/or hidden from search will not be refunded or otherwise credited to your account.
This policy prevents the sale of counterfeit items, which are illegal, and could expose sellers to legal risk. Removing them protects sellers and their buyers from buyer protection claims and financial loss.

Just did a quick look at listings. Do you have these products on hand? It looks like your using some catalog photos.
If your entering the correct UPC code from the sales tag for the item, I would think your okay.

Other vendors have complained about same problem. I strongly urge not to relist this item as EBAY may permanently terminate your account.
Not sure who decides what is counterfeit....could be bots.

what is the zip fastener they use on this things???
Interesting terminology being used, and such may be to bypass a problem.....

If you read through the OP's entire post, they returned it to the store.

It could be the extreme price difference between the retail price listed on the tags and what you're selling them for which makes them suspect.
For example you have a Valentino Vest Top Sleeveless Blazer Jacket originally retailing for $3,850.00 and you're selling it for $149.99. That's 96% off the original price!!! How did you pay such a low price???

It's naive to think these retail outlets are immune from selling counterfeit goods.

I purchased this item at Filene's basement a few years ago at a huge discount as well. Originally i tried selling for 300 but no one was buying , so i lowered to 150. I'm not sure how my price is related to anything.

Nordstrom selling counterfeit moncler? Come on. If Nordstrom sells fake, then we are all doomed.

Yes, i have products on hand. This is just clothes from my closet. Not sure how photos are related to them being removed after 1-2 years. I always provide photos of every possible tag.

That's why i'm trying to find out what i'm doing wrong and what automatic process i'm triggering. They already said its' my last warning. But what do i do except end all my listings and close the account, lol.

@american-photography This is absolutely not uncommon in clothing resale. Some very good brands go for peanuts on the resale market.

@mezmaridesignercloset I see absolutely no red flags here I sell a number of those brands myself (just sold a Dior scarf AMOF). I'd suggest talking to the people on the Fashion board. https://community.ebay.com/t5/Fashion/bd-p/fashion They have a bunch of experts there, and most of all they may be able to assist with these items being taken down and what can be done.
ETA: Also I want to say that just another seller/competitor 'reporting' one of your items won't get it taken down. It's either the manufacturer through a VERO program, or some kind of bot pull.

You didn't shop at Nordstrom, you shopped at discount subsidiary business called Nordstrom Rack.
