Re: Auction payment delay

Open an unpaid item case. The buyer will have 4 additional days to pay at which point-if he hasn't paid- you can manually close the case and get reimbursed for your eBay fees.

Re: Auction payment delay

 Here is the Help page about what to do if a buyer doesn't pay:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/unpaid-items.html

When you file an unpaid item claim, eBay immediately sends the buyer a message that strongly encourages them to pay for their item within 4 days. But that's all eBay does.

If the buyer doesn't pay, then after 4 days you'll get the option to close the case, giving the buyer a strike and getting a credit for your final value fee. Do not expect to hear anything about your case directly from eBay. Either the buyer pays or they don't. If you don't close the case within 36 days after the transaction it will expire, which means no strike for the buyer and no credit for you.

Re: Auction payment delay

For future sells, you should set up your Unpaid Item Assistant to kick in automatically, so you don't have to pester the buyer to pay. If I have a buyer that doesn't pay, I'll wait at least 24 hours then send one invoice.  After that, I let the Unpaid Item Assistant take over.

@daniel_us_store

Since you are registered in Sri Lanka, how have you arranged to be paid by eBay buyers?

It's my understanding members in Sri Lanka cannot legitimately receive payments into PayPal accounts.

Where will you receive the money for a sale?
