Auction Item has a "limited time" statement in red

One of my auctions has a limited time statement in red on it.  Auction has been on Buy Now since March.  Why would eBay do this?

Look at the time stamp on your listing. Is it being ready to renew automatically or fixin to run off? I see this when my listings are about to renew in my store, or if my auctions are about to run off. It lets buyers know....Hey...time is of the essence....better buy!

I don't see any of your listings being sold as Auctions. Hmmm...

If it’s been on Buy Now since March, it’s not an auction.

Are you on your phone app? I just realized that is where I see that most, I don't see it on the classic site.

No not on phone app.  It is a Fixed Price Auction for Mexican Dishes.  It  is not an "Auction" for 7 days or 10 days.

This is a Fixed Price Auction which runs until sold or is cancelled.  It's been running since March. Why is eBay doing this?

It is on a fixed price auction.  This should run until either the item sells or Seller cancels.  So why has eBay done this?

First of all, Fixed Price is not an Auction; it's the opposite of an Auction. A Fixed Price renews every 30 days (or every month; I forget how they count the exact number of days) until either you cancel it or someone buys it.

When I looked at it earlier this morning, it was about 30 minutes from the end of its 30-day listing, and it has now automatically renewed for another 30 days. You listed it at 9:23 PST on March 28th, and it just renewed at 9:23 PST here on August 28th.

It used to be every 30 days.

Now, they relist on the same day of the month.

Have a great day.

Re: Auction Item has a "limited time" statement in red

The reason it is in "red" is it is trying to tell a potential Buyer to hurry up and purchase it, before the listing ends - which always makes sense on an Auction, not so much on a FP BIN.

Since your listing has renewed, does it still say it?

There is no such thing as a " Fixed Price Auction," you must mean a fixed price buy it now listing.
