I woke up to day checked my messages and found Ebay had opted me into the Guaranteed Delivery Program. I opted out but I am still waiting for the page to refresh. I want nothing to do with it.
It is still showing up on all of my listings.

Hello I think it will drop off my listings when Ebay refreshes. Maybe my buyer's can't see it, but right after I opted out I can still see it on all my listings.
I went to see my sold awaiting shipment page but Ebay is blocking me from that at the moment.
Right now I cannot ship my sold items as I am blocked from that page, but I should be able to sort that out.

I got a message a while back saying I would be.
It said there would be place to opt out on my Site Preferences.
I still have not seen it.
If anyone can post a screen shot of the place to opt out, please do so!

Thank you for that information. I did use the Ebay provided link to my site preferences and I did opt out of the program. I just went to my site preferences and it does show that I have correctly opted out of guaranteed shipping. I think it is a matter of Ebay's site waiting to refresh. At any rate I should not be held accountable for the program as I have opted out.

I have increased my handling time so that I simply never will qualify to avoid this problem.

I got the email. I didn't notice it saying you have to have 1-day shipping? I have 2-day.

They did it to me also, got an email I'm now in !
The 1st email had said sometime in May so they must be rolling it out to different sellers on different days !

Yes, as of May 1st.
Coincindentally (or not), that's when my sales tanked.
In order for my listings to be eligible, I have to have one day handling. That's not likely to happen. I am a one man show and I often leave for several days at a time, living, you know, the rest of my life that ISN'T selling on Ebay, and I depend on that 3-day period to cover me.
I suspect those of us who don't participate will eventually be pushed out.

I'm not sure what the parameters are because there have been sellers with two day shipping that still have this on their listings because they have shipped same or next day, even though their stated handling time is longer. Ebay appears to be looking at what timeframe you actually ship in, not what you state as a handling time. Or it appears that way in some cases. Confusing.
I have a 3-4 handling time depending on the item. So far no guarantteed delivery times even though sometimes I ship within 24 hours.

Thanks for the screen shot.
It's frustrating being told you will be able to opt out but not seeing the option.
Now I can verify it is not there, rather than wondering whether it is there and I have missed it 🙂
