Anyone else having issues with the crop photo feature?

Tried to edit some photos I took and the crop feature isn't working on any new photos. However, if I go into an existing auction and try to edit the photo that seems to be working, but not on anything new. All the other photo edit features are working.

Is this me or are others dealing with the same issue?

I have to admit that I never crop images on Ebay.  I just make sure everything I want in the picture is captured by the camera.  I then use those photos as-is, with no need to crop them.  The feature should work, though, as a lot of people do use it.

I have the same problem.  The first time it started a few weeks ago.  It works on some days and doesn't on the others.  It could work part of the day, and fail during the other part.  It's very annoying and I could not figure it out what causes it.

Hi Everyone

I had the same problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy 9+ I use for my pictures and ebay listings. What I did was uninstall the ebay app then I rebooted my phone after the reboot I went ahead and reinstalled the ebay app and it has been working perfectly fine now. No more problems with cropping my images. Hope this can help.

Same here! Ebay rep finally admitted it was something on their end and promised to add me to a ticket. It has been over  month and it's still happening every third listing, or so. Reached out to Ebay again yesterday but still no help.

Going on 3 months and still no response from ebay. Why are they so disconnected from their sellers and yet want us all to attend some fall seller update like they're our friends.

Can't crop uploaded photos in listing.  Contacted customer service.  They tried to convince me that other ebay sellers find it convenient to use the website [not the app with the built-in feature right there] and that yes it works to review my uploaded photos [not what I asked]  and yes I can crop the photos on the website [also not the issue]. They had a real hard time admitting that the crop feature in the app simply isn't working! I had to ask the guy to just tell me it's not working. Then he asked if there was anything else he could help me with!?! I asked if he would pass on this info that customers are having a problem with this feature and he told me yes and my problem would be fixed after this call. When I questioned him "fixed after this call" he corrected himself saying "as soon as possible". So..... looks like we're on our own.  R.I.P. ebay selling platform.

Yes, same with me. I tried to set up an item, had about 9 pix, they uploaded OK, but I couldn't crop anything. Once I click on the Crop tool, the message was to Upload New Pictures or something.  Not sure who to reach out to?

I am having the same issues. I can load them and turn them but when I go to crop them, they disappear.  I have tried a bunch of things, but nothing seems to work. I can crop them on my phone and that is what I have been doing. I don't expect Ebay to fix the problem.

It started happening to me yesterday and still happening today? I haven't changed any settings on my iphone 15Pro camera settings. Ebay is glitch central!!! I guess I'll try changing the settings, hope that works. I also have issues with ebay removing my listings for no apparent reason and without my permission yet nobody at ebay can tell me why this is happening. Who has time for all these issues? Not me:(

I am having the same problem but only photos that I have recently edited in photoroom.  I tried increasing the quality of the photos in photoroom but still no help.  Does ebay not want us using photoroom anymore, they want us to use their crappy photo editing software?

I have had this problem since 10/24 early morning.  Made 1st call to an agent, she tried but couldn't help said maybe something wrong with my mouse.  Bought a new mouse.  It was not the problem because I still could not use the crop feature.  Called  again in evening, was told they were looking into it as I wasn't the only one who was indicating a problem.  Also said ebay had made some changes.  I wish they would leave well enough alone!! as now I cannot list any new items.

You are not alone.  It is still happening.   Ebay  screwed it up now they need to fix it.
