Another GTC question

(no groaning from the peanut gallery)

I've been doing a lot of completeds searching, since in this bleep bleep bleep it's snowing again bleep bleep bleep weather I decided to clean out the jewelry collection.

If nothing ends unless it's sold, how do we tell if something actually sells?  I mean, what we see now is:

Completed:  714

Sold:  82

Which would make me go hmmmmm, not a good seller here, maybe try somewhere else/donate.

Now will we see:

Completed:  714

Sold:  714

Or

Completed:  82

Sold:  82

Does my question make sense?  Because that is sure going to hamper any decision making.

Will we see the sold dates?  Top of the list is most recently sold?  I almost always sort by Highest Price.

Another GTC question

When everybody is using GTC that kind of research will be more difficult. I use the out of stock option since I sell a lot of multi quantity items, so I will be forced to manually end any single quantity listings as they sell.

If it's a single quantity listing that sells and reverts to 0 quantity then it will not appear in solds when I manually end it.

Any multi quantity listing will show in solds as long as there is stock remaining whether the listing is still active or not. It usually take a day or two to populate in the sold filter.

Those are complications when a seller uses the out of stock feature.

Those who don't use the out of stock feature will see their listings in solds- and in completed when manually ended- I think.
