Another Flea Pay empty threat 😂

Received notice on two of my accounts that I won't convert to Flea Pay's MP Scam that all listings would be shut down on 6/15/21.  Well that date has come and gone and .... nothing.  I have no doubt that eventually they'll do it, probably on 12/31, but it's clear they're not interested in losing these couple thousand listings and the revenue they'll pull from the sales.  They keep calling and trying to get me to sign up; pathetic.  Anyone else having a similar experience?  They surely figured they'd lose some percentage of sellers when they rammed this **bleep** down our throats,  just admit it Flea Pay and quit calling, grow a set, and shut down my accounts.

Oh yeah, they'll let you keep selling. Of course they'll hold your money hostage until you sign up. Then you can wait 4 to 6 months for them to send it to your state's unclaimed property division.

Just because you see your listings doesn't mean your customers will.  Or that they can't just simply stop you from selling.  But more likely is that they'll allow you to sell, but you won't be able to get the money so you'll either have to sign up for MP or wait six months and go through the unclaimed property division for your state.

Main suggestion: Pull the listings yourself if you don't like MP.

So you sell here or at least did at one time but you insult the venue calling it "Flea Pay" etc..?

Isn't that a little self defeating? 

eBay has issues- but I'm not going to denigrate the site on which I am trying to attract customers to make money.. 

And the others are correct, your items might still be purchased but with no payment vector, it's gonna be tough to collect the money.

I have a terrible feeling, you might be starting an inflammatory thread about what you are going to do to eaby if they don't release your funds, that they will be holding since they can't or won't send it to your Paypal account.
Further you may face issues if you haven't converted, for some of us the conversion was seamless but others have experienced difficulties that have taken days and weeks and in a few cases months to resolve... It is the possibility of these issues arising (among other things) that I converted early, sometime last year, I've been in MP for a time now and have no further issues...

So that being said, I wish you luck.
I mean, I am assuming you wish to continue selling here, seeing how you haven't left in a huff.

eBay, the payment processor Adyen, your bank and credit card companies are all multi billion dollar organizations. eBay would have about an equal and not greater probability of getting hacked.

The bigger risk is all of the smaller organizations you have given the information to over the years. Is this on paper in a filing cabinet at your now defunct former employer? Used car loan? On an old PC that was scrapped today?

Managed Payments was announced on 01/30/2018, so people have had time to prepare.

I was able to open a second checking account online without ever setting foot in the bank. They emailed me some documents that I signed and dropped off in the night deposit box. The merchandise that sells on Monday gets paid out early Wednesday morning. This is business as usual.

As stated in the posts above, you won't get paid for anything you sell, until you enroll.

Have you checked to see if you have access to your money for the last sales?  It looks like you do rather well on here, so I can't understand this mindset.

Unless you have not had any sales the big ? for the OP is have you received payments on your sales in paypal?

I think ebay is bluffing with removing listings that were up because they would have to give back listings fees if they remove them.

More likely they will let them run out then just not allow new listings.

So you like to do things the hard way vs working towards compliance?  

Others have reported that once the date has passed, ship has sailed, ELVIS truly leaves the building and they get a love letter from e-Bay stating there is a "specific" date, that gradually e-bay removes the listings and if anything sells (it could) they have no way to be paid as there is no longer a "payout" mechanism associated with the selling account.

Some folks want to make certain they are "heard".  Unfortunately, e-Bay will get the "last" word on this and you probably won't like how the story ends.

The good news?  You still have time to fix this.  Or you can continue the "defiance" gig and see how that works out.  *shrug*  if you wanna fight the inevitable with a weed whacker....so be it.  We'll watch for your heated post in a short time frame from now where e-Bay is evil and is holding your money.  Good luck!

   If you're so unhappy with Ebay wanting you to switch to MP, why are you taunting them to shut you down? You can end your listings yourself and really teach Ebay a very big lesson... LOL

   You currently only have 286 listings, not "these couple thousand listings".

   Similar experience? Not here. I've joined the other vast majority of successful sellers and got onto MP about 700 transactions ago. Going perfectly smoothly with not the loss of even one penny or the need to change most of my listings from next business day shipping. My buyers are very happy.

   So if you'll excuse me, I have some sales to process, and then I'll do my weekly login to my checking account and glow a little bit when I see all the Ebay MP deposits.
