I tried ti ship item, but "no address found". I contacted the buyer multiple times to verify address, never responded over a three week time period. I sent cancellation notice, buyer never responded during the 10 day time period. So ebay automatically cancelled the transaction, and buyer left me negative feedback. I already appealed this to Ebay, but ebay never responded. What else can I do?

I have buyer addresses that show up like that but I ship anyway and they get delivered.
I would have shipped and then if USPS said invalid address on the package you could have got feedback removed.
I have had it happen before and I just send eBay proof that USPS stamped it undeliverable and got feedback removed

I went to the post office to ship the item, and they would not do it because "no address found". They didn't stamp my package with anything. I left the post office, and tried to contact buyer.

Did you try calling eBay? They are usually pretty nice about removing unfair feedback.

Your reply to the feedback was good.
If it can not be removed, it will probably not cause problems. As a buyer, if I read that feedback it would not make me think that there was a problem on your end.

Odd, seeing as the buyer has at least 190 successful transactions.
They could be old. And who knows if the buyer has bad feedback as a buyer...some sellers give positives with bad remarks to buyers because sellers can only give positives to buyers.

If you are still inside the 30 day window, can you ask to talk to a manager higher up than an ebay phone rep?

Sure it can. If the address given is a bad address, you most certainly can get it removed. But the OP has to prove that. They are going to have to call Ebay to get it taken care of.
But a note: The PO isn't always right. For the first couple of years in our home, online it said my address didn't exist. At the time it was a new built home and systems were not updated yet. But we did exist and mail delivery actually was no problem at all.

I wouldn't waste any time on it. The neg isn't hurting you - your reply tells what happened in clear terms and would never deter me as a buyer.

I have to disagree with this. While at this time Ebay is not counting negative or neutral FB against us in our monthly evals, that could change at any time.
Just like when they updated the Return policies to allow for the step called Return Request. Ebay assured sellers when they made this change that they would NOT hold any RR against us in the monthy eval unless we did not resolve the matter BEFORE it was escalated to Ebay. Now they are going back on that promise/statement come September.
Also negative FB can look bad to buyers. If there is the remotest of possibility to get it removed, a seller should try as you never know when another one may come along and you may not have a good reason to get it removed. They can add up quickly. So when you have the ability to try and resolve one and get it removed, I encourage sellers to do so. It is in your best interest and the best interest of the health of your account.

Second that. A phone call to a CS rep who can comprehend the situation is required. You will need to have them read the correspondence in the case, and see the fact that you were trying to resolve the problem with the address.
I had exactly that same situation a year or so back, where the buyer could not come up with a usable shipping address, then cancelled, then left a Neg anyway (as if somehow the whole thing was my fault). After going through the steps above, the CS rep cleared the Neg in 10 minutes. Good luck.

I did file an unfair negative feedback with Ebay, but they never responded. And I wondered if it was the post office's fault, but that is why I contacted the buyer to verify the address. Buyer never responded at all. Guess I am stuck with this negative for 12 months now.

Yes if you have a spare 2 hours for that baloney. Why can't Ebay model their feedback rules like Amazon? We get screwed by Ebay for almost any feedback, including Global Shipping feedback which we were PROMISED would be removed if they left a negative *neutral*.

I don't know what kind of thing you "filed" with Ebay. Being able to do that via a form is news to me. Not that I know everything about Ebay and of course their constant and relentless changes, it is hard to keep up.
So exactly what did you do to "file" with Ebay?
For me, I've always called Ebay, explained the problem and for the most part when having to do with something like this, it was resolved while I was on the phone with the CSR. I strongly recommend calling and BTW, time is running out for you. They will only do this for a certain amount of time. Wait to long and even if it is removable per Ebay, they won't remove it.
