Hi friends,
I have started a new eBay selling account one month ago. I started to sell under the clothing, shoes, and accessories category. Up to now no more impression. Therefore can I change my category into the home and garden category?.

You can sell in any category you want........ but if you mean can you put a baby hat into home and garden.......no, that should not be done. It does not belong there.

It depends on what type of clothing, shoes accessories, etc. Do these items pertain to Home and Garden? I not I wouldn't try it. People won't be able to find your items if they're in the wrong category and ebay might end them because of that reason. Don't be so concerned about impressions...it's sales that count in the end.

PS I just looked at your listing...you only have one. Keep it in the clothing category and you may want to lower the price...it's a bit high and crochet items are very common on this and many other e-commerce platforms.

You should vet your sellers better. Most sellers here won't purchase from sellers with a feedback rating less than body temperature. 98.6% . Some won't buy if their rating is less than 99% . Their rating isn't like getting a grade on a test paper. A feedback rating less than 98.6 is horrible for a seller that sells a lot of items. You should buy from better sellers. Out of 12 sellers that left you feedback only 2 had what is considered good feedback.

Think about it.
Do you think ... once you start selling shoes, you have to sell only shoes for the rest of your life?

They've bought all of 12 items from 10 bad sellers. They have a lot to learn about buying before they jump in selling, don'tcha think?
Nobody is finding their item because the title has so many words you can't find it on a search of crotchet baby hat 12-18 mo blue.

I still don't see that......no negs/neg comments left by the op, no neg comments from sellers they've bought from?????
Ok, you're quoting the feedback of the sellers from whom they've bought........... not feedback they've left or gotten.. Purchases for them seem to have worked out fine. I just don't agree with an overall blanket statement on not purchasing from x% sellers.....too many buyers find fault when it is really THEIR fault. I tend to judge a seller on an individual basis.........
